Joe Januszewski, the officer of NESV who tipped off John Henry about the availability of Liverpool, and who has been a fan of Liverpool for quite a while has left the organization.

 

Where did he leave for? The Texas Rangers. I do hope there isn't some arcane conflict of interest situation here.

I kinda had a dislike of the fella after I saw that video of him on American tv, introducing people to Liverpool and what we are about. Can't remember the exact quote but he gave it all of "I've suffered the highs like istanbul and and the lows like Rafa Benitez and Lucas"

 

It may have been on nesv's own station.

An angle I'm not convinced about either way, at least I'm not convinced NESV weren't already interested. I think Broughton brought them in quite early, they almost bought Marseille a couple of years ago, and we're a company known to want to buy into European 'Soccer'.

That wasn't him, I remember that interview, that bloke didn't work for NESV, but he did know or had done business with them, he mentioned the office that was bedecked with LFC stuff, I assumed the office he was talking about was Joe's
