I can't stress enough that the information regarding my chilli that you're working with is woefully inaccurate.

 

My chilli is, in fact, the opposite of what you're proposing ie: it tastes really nice.

hey Andy, try this souffle recipe:

 

1 amount of flour

1 amount of butter

1 amount of milk, warmed

1 amount finely grated parmesan cheese or 1 amount each of parmesan and gruyère

4 large egg yolks

5 large egg whites

1 amount salt and freshly ground (non-vegetable) pepper

cayenne (vegetable) pepper

 

Mix it all together, whack it in the oven for a bit.

I love that she points out after every ingedient that it goes in the pan. I'd like to know where else Andy might think they go.

 

 

I wrote that on so I wouldn't have to list a load of ingredients and then list how you're supposed to add them.

 

Flop them into the pan. Jobs a good un.

 

Does 1 amount of cumin weigh the same as 1 amount of mince?

 

 

I'd suggest that if you thought that, not only should you not be in a kitchen, but you should also be kept away from all household appliances. Probably in a straitjacket.

Chopped onions, chilis, garlic, fry a bit

 

Add beef mince, fry a bit

 

Add ..

3 tsps cumin

1 heaped tsp paprika

1 tsp hot chili power

1 tsp oregeno

1/4 tsp tumeric

 

Fry a bit more ..

 

Add a glass of red wine

Add a tin of chopped tomatoes

Adda a tin of kidney beans

 

Add a tbsp tomato puree.

 

Cook for ages.

seriously though Andy...what the f*** does that line about garlic mean? premade garlic??

 

 

 

Can't remember what those little bottles of garlic mush are called. If I can be arsed when I make it, I chop up fresh garlic and dump it in. If I can't be arsed I use those little bottles of Garlic and add a few teaspoons.

 

You might be able to tell I don't do a lot of cooking :)

I'm not arsed about being in a chilli-making contest with you all anyway. it's just faux-machismo, like Andy going on about how he loves his curries bloody hot.

Jesus, you people will put baked beans in anything.

Are we sure Andy doesn't mean plain haricot? I have to admit, I like mixing my beans in chilli - haricot, black eye, kidney, all three.

 

Sweetcorn has no place in a chilli though.
