The sad thing is that Webb, who when he first appeared in the league was quite good, was totally sh*te and cost us the game. When Gerrard was brought down it was a definite penalty. The ball got away from him a bit, but that's totally irrelevant as Webb isn't an f in mind reader, even if the arrogant **** thinks he is. He was looking straight at the incident and totally blew it. We were all over them at that point and likely would have gone on to get more. Denilson should have got a second yellow when he deliberately threw the hip in when he had no chance of the ball. He constantly gave fouls against us for f all.

Rubbish, it was one of the most nailed on pens you'll see all season. Gerrard was just mauled in the area and the ref was 10 yards away staring right at it. He just didnt want to give it and judging by the way he reffed the rest of the game and handed Man Utd the title last season we can see why.

Completely agree. I didnt shout for a penalty but sat there 'hoping' the ref might see it differently and blow.

webb seems to be trying to get himself back in the news, that was as stonewall as penoes get. game changing moment, but again, we were f***ing awful second half.
