I think N'Gog is backup to Torres and, to a lesser extent Kuyt as the striker. Voronin is a backup for the Gerrard position.

daily star has us linked with a £12m bid for carlton cole. I think he is a good player who can play upfront on his own if need be (he currently does that regularly for west ham and has a decent scoring record with them). Coupled with the fact that west ham are skint it may be a chance that rafa might be able to do a bit of business with them

yes mate agree with that he has developed into being a very good footballer has cole. £12m would be a bargain for him and dare i say it he would be absolutely ideal for us ie would be a small fish in big pond and maybe may not be as grumpy to sit on the bench behind nando now and again than a fully established top class £20m striker
