DJDunk Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Still got a few years left in him and looking like leaving Blackburn in Jan. Whilst he may not be as prolific as he was 10 odd years ago, I've always wanted to see him in a red shirt. Perhaps a cheap backup striker option?

DJDunk Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 For £3m, I'd rather have him as backup than Voronin.
Clay Davis Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 For £3m, I'd rather have him as backup than Voronin.I think N'Gog is backup to Torres and, to a lesser extent Kuyt as the striker. Voronin is a backup for the Gerrard position.
mathewbet1 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Voronin is a backup for the Gerrard position. get in
floyd the barber Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 no.. i dont see the point in squad players... either someone who is top class or a youngster with potential..
CarraLegend Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 He's old, lazy, spineless and not very good. Errr no.
Hassony Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 He's old, lazy, spineless and not very good. Errr no. and to top it all he is a big united fan as well
drdooom Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 He's old, lazy, spineless and not very good. Errr no. Not even if it's a straight swap for the Vog?
Toni Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 pavlyuchenko is a much better target to aim at. he may not be as cheap but is sure as hell wanna leave spurs.
richwilks Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 we don't have 3m. I think you'll see us do some business in January. Money will be available.
Jarg Armani Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I think you'll see us do some business in January. Money will be available. this is excellent news. who are we selling?
Rimbeux Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 this is excellent news. who are we selling? Potentially 5th place
DJDunk Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 He's old, lazy, spineless and not very good. Sounds like an ideal replacement for Voronin.

Ibby Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 daily star has us linked with a £12m bid for carlton cole. I think he is a good player who can play upfront on his own if need be (he currently does that regularly for west ham and has a decent scoring record with them). Coupled with the fact that west ham are skint it may be a chance that rafa might be able to do a bit of business with them
drdooom Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Coupled with the fact that we're skint there might not be a chance. Unless they still owe us for Titi Camara.

Physically he is almost unplayable, an absolute monster; but he has added goals, work rate and composure to his game. I think he could play both with Torres or as the lone striker which I feel makes him ideal. I'd pay £12m. Edited November 11, 2009 by Leo No.8

Toni Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 i vw watched him at times this season and i still think he s too clumsy on the ball to become world class.
Cam Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Addicted to partying and picking up women. It'd be the beginning of a new Spice Boys era. Keep well away.
