I've felt for a while that it we can go into the last four games in the same position as we both are now, that they are the games in which they will drop points.

No new date/time given for the Mancs game at Boro yet?

Been moved back a day to the Saturday (may 2nd)

I'm encouraged by the fact that since we beat them, they've not had a particularly had run of games, but have won 3 (each by a single goal) drawn 2 (counting the 0-0 during 90 mins+ extra time as a draw) and have lost 1. And in those 6 games, they've scored 8 and conceded 7. They need a big improvement on that, but I still expect an easy victory against Portsmouth on wed...

Just realised, Tuesday is our last midweek game of the season - they just keep rolling in for the Mancs.

Our lads will be well rested and plenty of time to work on tactics.

We really need Portsmouth and Tottenham to take points off them

No chance of Pompey getting anything. Spurs just might. More likely Arsenal though, and their away games at Boro (between their two CL games), Wigan (going for 7th) and Hull (if they're still in need of something to secure safety) might yield something for us.

We could do with Arsenal getting a decent result in the 1st leg of the CL game - if United need a good result down at the Emirates in the 2nd leg, there might be a chance of them resting players away at Boro. We'll need Boro to still be in danger, but with a fair chance of staying up, when they host the mancs.

Arsenal is a key game and for a number of reasons. I'm tired of reading about must win games, but actually, if we do beat Arsenal on tuesday the pressure on United will be greater than at any point this season and they are really not playing well at all.

The funny thing is, after all this talk about the quintuple and the 5 player nominations, United's season could nosedive just as spectacularly, thats the risk, and thats why Ferguson has stooped to a really bitter low in his very personal attacks against Rafa.

I hold Benitez responsible for our dip around the xmas period and I'm not going to be swayed away from that, but the response since then has been breathtaking and the results and attitude he's instilled in the team are simply a credit to him. He deserves this title more than Ferguson and if he does get it in this year, of all years, it would be immense

i think the games they "might" drop points in are Arsenal and Man City and possibly Boro, mort important is that we win all of ours .

just curious does Keene qualify for a league winners medal if we win it im not sure how it works is it he has to have played a certain amount of games or what ?

Would agree with that. These next two games are huge for us, and any kind of progress for us would be brilliant, but i won't be tow worried if it doesn't happen. 6 points in the next two games and i reckon we do it

Think he does as after he left I remember him saying he'd give it to his brother if we won it.

Imagine it goes down to the last game, Hull need a win to stay up!! Fook not sure my heart could take it.

I saw that a couple of weeks back and it its growing even larger as a possibility.

He would be eligible to receive one but I don't believe he'd just summarily be sent one. It's always been my understanding that the Premier League strike medals for the players and staff who have played the correct number of games and the club then hands these over. The club can also petition the league for extra medals to be given to players who have missed out on the number of games neccessary. I think for example the substitute keeper of most title winning teams is given a medal for having been on the bench for all the games, that sort of thing.

Just seen Ferdinand and Berbatov getting a right going over on Sky from an interviewer. Pressure's hotting up. Need a win tomorrow to crank it up some more.

And a vintage press conference either before or (for me) preferably after the win.

Would love Rafa to do a list of Fat Sam and the tramp's disrespectful behaviour. Could go on all day.

TBF if he scores the winner against Man U and concedes and own goal against us, I'd say hes earned it

We just win our six. They don't matter. If we win our six and they win the league, sound. But I just think that if we win our six we will be champions.

I agree with that. It must be remembered that before the season started we all wanted to be 'in' the run in, we are and regardless how it turns out we have laid a marker down that the mancs or the rest of the league aren't going to forget in a hurry.

agreed Neil.. it's winding me up reading "i can't see them dropping points against X" or "i think they'll drop points against X".. don't worry about them.. get behind our lads and if we win our six - and still don't win the league - then be proud of how we've pushed these c**** all the way..

for what its worth i agree with your final sentence - i believe this too..

spurs are managed by redknob, they will bend over as per usual. portsmouth still carry the stench of redknob and therefore will also bend over.

Everton did try to lose to them, but they messed up by going through on penalties. It didn't matter much though as the players teh scum played are not first team players anyway.

For us, at least we had a 10 day break before arsenal to recharge and regroup. This is our toughest game in the run-in, so hopefully we win this, and see how we go.

Rafa should mention the disrespect shown to everton by Man u in playing a reserve team, just in case he tries that again.

Also, was gutted the semi did not go to replay.

do you have to be quite so repulsive?

And wrong. Redknapp beat them away in the Cup last year and got a point at home with Pompey. His record against United is decent. This season his side pushed them all the way in the League Cup final. Spurs and Pompey will give it everything they have but probably won't be good enough. One of them may nick a point.
