Scrappy openning but we've had most of the play in their half. Ince looks lively and Wisdom has been driving forward well from midfield.

And in keeping with the game Dalla Valle scores a scrappy goal, albeit a good finish, after goal mouth scramble from a corner. His 16th of the season and 4th in this competition.

Amoo just scored a brilliant goal, cutting in from the right dropping his shoulder to go past the defender and then cooly finishing from a angle over the advancing keeper.

Amoo seems to do pretty well at youth level, wonder if he could make the step up in time? I've only seen highlights involving him a few times but he looked quick and strong for his age.

Dalla Valle gets his second after the Brum keeper roles the ball out to him leaving him with an open net.

Nearly a 4th after more good work from Amoo nut megging the full back and pulling it back for Eccelston whose shot is cleared off the line.

The front 4 we're effectively playing with are all causing massive problems for the Brum defence with their pace and movement.

Made his debut for the reserves the other day and did well apprently. Every time I've seen him he always causes problems for the full back. Like you say it's his pace and power that worries defenders. If he keeps progressing and gets a bit more composure and consistency with his balls into the box then he could be a decent player.

Wisdom with an effort just over.

Did Maldini say Wisdom only 15? If thats the case, this lad looks another excellent prospect

Yeah if not he has only just truned 16. Usually plays at RB and has also played CB. He's very quick but positionally at the back could do with improving but hey the lad is only 15/16!! This position seems to suit him.

What's great about this team is it's full of great individuals who play as a team, rather than the other past teams who won it who were just a good unit really with no special talents.

Second that, they all work really hard for each other very similar to how Rafa has drilled the first team.

Dalla Valle should have had his hat-trick after again Amoo got the better of his full backl and put in a ball to the far post. Good save by the keeper tho who got across his goal well to save the header.

Yeah Wisdom's not 16 til May. Great prospect, potentially world class I think. Dunno what his best position is yet though, he's looked equally good CB, RB and CM. He's played CB more than anywhere else. Everyone in that team tonight is a potential first-teamer (apart from Kennedy)

I really wish they start showing these games here in Australia on setanta next year. Unfortunately Setanta can only show 2 premier league clubs TV shows at 1 time. Currently its stinky Chelsea and United.

Great performance last night.

Future is really bright for a few of these kids.

Dalle Valle looks a top finisher and should progress to be a regular in the reserves next season.

Eccleston has a huge amount of ability, he's quick and skilful and could become a top player.

Amoo has all the attributes to be a top player, my only worry is that his main attributes are his strength and pace and wonder if he looks good at this level because he's up against younger players. Not sure he'll replicate it if he got first team opportunities against stronger defenders, should be put into the reserves though to get a chance against some better players.

Bauchman (sp?) at left back looks extremely comfortable on the ball, going forward and good in the tackle.

Tom Ince and Adam Pepper both look top players as well. Think Pepper will be the next scouser to be a regular at the club.

Wisdom has the potential to be a world class player and midfield will suit his game. He's the kind of player though who could get into the first team at right back and progress into midfield in a similar way to Gerrard.

I've mentioned Bouzanis before. Real talent that kid. I'd like to see him as reserve team keeper every game next season and Galacsi promoted as Reina understudy, Galacsi is definitely good enough but think Bouzanis will be better in 2-3 years. Both keepers have a bit of Reina about their player and their distribution.

I think the quality of some of these kids will see some of the reserves moved on in the summer. Players like Plessis, Hobbs, Antwi etc who aren't really progressing as they should be will be replaced by players like Ayala, Pepper, Amoo, Eccleston etc. Hopefully a couple like Pacheco, Spearing will move up to the first team.

I thought Hobbs was supposed to be having a great season at Leicester.... how is that not progress (even if it is in a lower division) surely he's stepping up to the mark at a higher level than the reserves where he would be otherwise...

He is doing well yeah, his contract is up soon though and I think he's been overtaken and Kelly. He's a good player but maybe a bit slow for us.

Just watched the highlights.

That is a really good side. Something that stands out compared to previous sides is their physicality, they are all big lads.
