i've no idea, wouldn't be surprised. i was looking at the pack you get when you join the supporters club last night (bird's housemate joined), it was all so tatty, especially the coaster. Why are we sending people mdf coasters?

it isn't official merchandise, or at least it's not listed on the club's site, so the club should get it f***ing injunctioned right now. of course the alternative is that the club do know about it and it's being produced under license, in which case it's shoeing time.

I know, 'small time' stuff like this has been on sale outside the ground for years. It really isn't worth getting worked up about.

Wasnt there a legal battle between the club and street traders where the club demanded that all un-official merchandise remove the clubs badge from the shirts/scarfs/hats etc.

 

The traders then substituted the badge with just the liverbird i.e. the symbol of the city. The club didnt like this either and tried to sort it legally but this got the city against the club as the Liverbirds are a symbol of Liverpool the city and not Liverpool the football club ??

 

Given its just the Liverbird on shirts I'd say its unofficial.

 

Not sure what people expect, there are fans at every club that will fork out their money such shirts so of course people are gonna make money.

 

Cant wait for my 1-4 shirt
