What the hell is in their club crest really? I'm talking about the figure in the white triangle on the top left corner.

Looks like a bear or a small elephant nibbling the branches of an orange tree, all done in MS Paint.

Also, was browsing through Miguel Reina's wiki-page. It says he played 5 times for Spain. But also that he scored 3 goals! Typo surely!?

It's a bear eating from a strawberry tree. It's the symbol of the city of Madrid.

The city of Madrid was originally founded due to the proximity of huge strawberry trees, however, no sooner had the nuevos madrilenos started to enjoy the fruits, than a huge number of bears came and ravaged the trees. The bears were chased out of town.

it's not meant to represent a strawberry tree, they just look like strawberries

Brown bears are native to Spain

well they're nearly all extinct there now.

Strawberries don't grow on trees. The seven stars represent Dante's seven levels of hell. Melancholy is the first.

However, I quite liked the juxtaposition of the Atleti and WBA badges on the right panel of the YNWA home pages this week, from a design perspective.

Actually there is such a thing as a strawberry tree and that's exactly what it represents.

Half of Franco's generals were white bears. Made for interesting war-room discussions.
