That freekick was insane. The closest comparison I can think of is that home game against Basle in the European Cup when Baros had a shot that came off the inside of one post, traveled at head height across the goal and rebounded out off the other post.

i've seen 2 posts a few times, but never both posts then hitting the keeper before hitting one of the posts again - that was mental

I've always thought that if you built your team around Cisse, he'll do well. We were never going to do that and justifiably so. Especially when you see what you get by building your team around someone like Torres.

 

Cisse will do well at Sunderland, less pressure of expectation, he'll get a bit more space as well because teams aren't going to camp in their own box against Sunderland. Also as Sunderland aren't on the TV that much it won't be as noticeable that he doesn't understand the offside rule.

 

He's still got a cannon in his right boot though.

I like Cisse.... wound me right up sometimes, but to come back from those two horrific injuries must have been hard going, fair play to him.. That goal he scored against Everton at Goodison was fantastic..

you can understand Berbatov not getting excited and celebrating cos he's a lazy prick... but Ronaldo's celebration today was as irritating as that one from last season where he kinda shrugged his shoulders.... but if it was because he wants out then I take some slight warmth in the fact its still getting to him.

Yes yes. I found it annoying, but to be honest what you lot say is to be taken with a pinch of bitter salt. If it was Torres doing it then as we all know it would be "Class"

 

 

I like the Rooney celebrations.
