Can I write and say I think they'll take a bigger loan than G+H out against the club. And that they'll sack Rafa?

Is that a hunch or do you know more? They did say a year ago their bid would have involved less debt than the American one. Just curious, as there seemed to be noise about them using equity investors to raise capital for the bid. But no need to temper you views on anyone else's behalf

I don't feel anything for DIC.

Yes, I'd like the Yanks out but that doesn't mean crawling to DIC. What if they don't turn out any better? Fans trying to get them out after literally begging them to come in? The main thing is that those running the club respect the club and the fans. Even if DIC rescue us from our current plight, they will still have to prove themselves and certainly shouldn't receive any kind of heroes' welcome.

people honestly believe DIC are some fairy godmother?

They're not. Far from it

This whole 'please buy us' thing makes me cringe.

Actually I didn't post to write asking them to please buy us, I wrote let them know what you think.

Feel free to either ignore it or write and tell them to f*** off, if you so wish.

Hicks doesn't want to win anything, he just wants to make money.

"All of these teams have become businesses in the past 20 years," Hicks said. " This business has to do with fan affinity and brand devotion. It doesn't necessarily have to do with winning."

"When I was in the leverage buy-out business we bought Weetabix and we leveraged it up to make our return. You could say that anyone who was eating Weetabix was paying for our purchase of Weetabix. It was just business. It is the same for Liverpool" - Tom Hicks

This sums up our future under this fat, greedy c***.

DIC will want us to increase in value, but you can be sure they will want to win things too. DIC are a business, but they are all about excellence top to bottom. They are the best at what they do in whatever they do.

I've never pushed them or backed them big time at all; but under Hicks I'm despairing. A leopard can't change his spots and our future under him would destroy everything about us.

What is simply STAGGERING, is that no-one managed tow ork this out about Hicks before we sold him the club. What exactly was Parry doing? It is a question that at some point has to be answered.

Agree with you totally mate. The mans incompetence is staggering. Five minutes on Google is enough to tell Hicks to f*** right off.

The sad thing is he is now one of the very few people who have any influence, however minimal, and knows what is happening.

My opinion is the next few weeks are critical. We have to influence Hicks opinion now on whether to stick it out or not. Unofrtunately, the only thing I believe would work is a boycott, a threat now of a boycott next season should he still be here or petitioning or taking action to stop or hinder the new stadium.

The next 6 months will shape the next 15 years, that's what I truly believe, and as I see it at the moment it's going the wrong way.

I already knew about this news a while back but I thought I would bring a slice of levity into the proceedings. Most of what has been written in this thread is pie in the sky. Anyway, why aren't you preparing for your journey to Prague!!!???

Out of the frying pan into the fire springs to mind here.

You'd be better off backing the share liverpool scheme and you don't need £5k a group of you (people from this forum for example) could club together for a share.

we would encourage ´group´membership to help avoid exclusion. One member of the group would need to be nominated as the ´voting member´ and it would be up to the group to make sure he represented the majority.....

Can you imagine the arguments that will take place over who is the nominated spokesman?
