San Diego Red Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2p3vd_fi...d-feyenoo_sport Dagger winding up Drenthe. I must say he does like getting in the middle of these situations, and I love it.Drenthe's ambition my a***, Agger is feckin brilliant! Drenthe = Midget Ronaldinho, thinks he's Ronaldinho, and is a c***. Edited August 7, 2007 by Vorokin'
_00_deathscar Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 His winding up of Drogba late in the Chelsea 1st leg was fantastic
Andy Mac Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Gerrard was lucky, there. Had been booked and thaty was a yellow card at least
sutty Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Not really Andy Gerrard just got the slack that all the others got There were a few that would have been sent off in the game if it were not a friendly
sean Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Delighted to see Gerrard react like this, not seen enough of this side of him the last couple of seasons.
_00_deathscar Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Right before Gerrard gets pulled away at the end, some guy comes to push him, Gerrard stands still, guys goes backwards
Barnesy_10 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Delighted to see Gerrard react like this, not seen enough of this side of him the last couple of seasons.bit of a difference from when Reina placed his hand on Robben that time, and all the Chelsea players started on Reina and none of ours were to be seen.... Stevie was class on Sunday... Agger is great at the wind ups.. We just need him to start on Lehmann when we play Arsenal.
sean Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 It seems since Gerrard was elevated to deity status that he took it upon himself to restrict his rash-ness. Something definitely missing from when he first appeared on the scene. He seems a very hungry young man this year.
Nerik Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 The sight of Reina sprinting out of his goal must have had the Feyenoord players crapping themselves. Fast moving wardrobe alert.
Stevie H Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 i reckon agger's a bit handy. be good to see some more attitude from him this season as he grows in confidence.
TFU Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Its all good for team spirit this. A good ruck before the season starts, it demonstrates the willingness to fight for each other. Bet Rafa loved it
yellow jumper Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 there was a noticeable change after half-time. don't know what happened, but pennant could have gone for his tackle, and kewell also pushed someone in the face. we do need to be nastier, but most of that stuff was just stupid. the ref's ineptitude didn't help.
Molby Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 don't wanna ruin this beautiful thread but did we not also come top of the fair play league when we used to win the league? if we want to be more 'professional' then I would suggest the Arsenal tactic; with the ball they are sublime to watch; very often, as soon as they lose it, they are happy to conceed an innocous foul in order to break up the tempo of the opposing team like Leicester under O Neill

We should do it more.
