David Hodgson Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Do we play the second leg at home, cos we're seeded ? Or is it decided by the draw ? Interested from a purely personal point of view, due to holiday dates.

Rory Fitzgerald Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 We played the second leg away last season so I very much doubt it's decided by being seeded. Must be the draw. Could that have been influenced by the troubles in Israel at the time ? Cant remember myself.
Ethan Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 (edited) I think home/away is decided by the draw - I've found nothing online to tell me any different This article gives a good idea of tomorrows draw Information on 2005/2006 2006/2007 draws Edited August 2, 2007 by Ethan
Sion Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Teams we don't want to have to travel to (as fans) Sparta PrahaFenerbahçeSlavia PrahaDinamo Zagreb Unless you like hooligan football firms. Zürich or Salzburg would be a good away trip. Dinamo Bucharest would be a good team to play cough http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4241016.stm
cymrococh Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Don't want to go to Prague or Zagreb? Are you mental?2 great trips.
yellow jumper Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 wouldn't mind istanbul either. always a good time, despite it's reputation. circumstances would be different this time around i suppose.

hels smicer Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 only 1 team i am hoping for us to get in the draw tommorow
Will Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I hope we get a place that's an utter s***hole as I can't go
CarraLegend Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Hope we get one of Dinamo Zagreb, Red Star, Fenerbache or AEK Athens. Be the best atmospheres at them ones. Spartak Moscow would be a pain in the a*** although a chance to get to know the City before next May so thats a plus.
Tommy Cockles Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Bravado aside, and from a totally footballing perspective, I think this is the most dangerous draw we have had in the qualifiers. There are some significant banana skins in there. I don't ever recall seeing so many (half) decent sides in it, and mindful of the fact that we are still in pre-season. Usually its littered with cr*p and only one or 2 you'd want to avoid, seems like the other way round this year. We've had a charmed life with these draws in the past, and nothing would knock the b******s out of a season like going out here. There. I am twitchy and pessimistic. The season has begun.
McBain Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Now i get why Robbie turned down Rangers. We'd have been nailed on to get them if he'd gone there Bless you God

Agree with that, especially the last bit.
Tommy Cockles Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Agree with that, especially the last bit. Football is all about worrying and imagining the worst, surely.
Sion Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 They're going through the draw rules now, watching on Eurosport as Sky have decided to have an ad break
CarraLegend Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Is the draw on now ? in a minute, just talking s*** for ages now as usual
