PETER CROUCH could be forced out of Liverpool if boss Rafa Benitez lands Valencia striker David Villa.

 

Benitez has been tracking Villa for some time and is close to landing the Spanish superstar in a £25million deal. The move is expected to go through when the transfer window opens next month and could see Crouch drifting cross-country to Newcastle, who are badly in need of a striker. Alan Nixon has one of the easiest jobs in the world; he gets paid for selling his freelance made up stories. Sure, by the law of averages one in every ten or twenty will turn out true, but most of the time it's just one load of absurd rubbish after another. Even for Nixon, this is a poor effort.

Absolute garbage story, but raises an interesting question as Crouchy has hardly got a look in recently. Will he be content sitting on the bench playing a bit part role playing second fiddle to Bellamy and Kuyt?

4 weeks ago Crouch was playing and the gutter press were saying Bellamy was off in January.
