I could well believe Giuly if you just think of his talents.

 

Giuly is someone that can operate on the right and yet has an eye for scoring goals. In that sense he is just like Garcia in that he can operate out wide but invariably ends up in the box on the end of crosses, a direct contrast I believe on Pennant in that Pennant is operating like the way Diouf did - never gets into the box to get on the end of chances.

I think the only thing about Giuly is he wasn't arsed last time and it was fairly obvious used our interest to get a new contract at Barca.

Figaro, what's the latest situation with Navas, as last I heard he was linked with a move to Arsenal? Any chance of recreating the Sevilla right hand side at Liverpool with a bid for both Alves and Navas?

Don't think Navas will be moving to the premiership any time soon ,he has panic attacks and bad nerves .He's probably not the type to want to move away from his family or what he knows.

think another decent central midfielder option is quite high up the list of requirements given sissoko's injury problems, the loss of hamman and question marks over zenden's suitability for that role. anything happens to gerrard or alonso from here until january and we're pretty f***ed.
