think it's largely down to the players making mistakes (Terry at the weekend for example).. feel for Rafa in that sense - he's getting the stick when it should be aimed at the players.. in much the same way, i'm really positive with the job Rodgers is doing here but we similarly make silly mistakes.. it's f***ing annoying.. we should be up there challenging for 3rd/4th.. what makes it even more annoying is g*******s having a pop at him (mainly twitter... and yes, i know) when if we cut out the silly mistakes we'd be well on our way.. -

don't be silly.. Rafa gets it in the neck off Chelsea supporters i'll 'support' him by telling them how they're wrong pointing out what he's achieved and how they're just uber-c****.. Rafa gets it in the neck because they draw/lose a game i'll 'support' him by pointing out mistakes of their players.. i'm not supporting him as Chelsea manager cos i couldn't give a flying f*** about Chelsea.. i'm supporting Rafa Benitez the man.. if he loses every game and gets the sack, no problem - i'm not bothered about that - but i'll support him in the aftermath when media etc try and put down his achievements in the game.. i don't think that could be more simple and/or uncomplicated.. -

I f***ing love Rafa.. if i'm ever on this thread supporting him then thats what it is - supporting Rafa.. it's not supporting Chelsea, it's not a sideways dig at Rodgers, it's simply supporting the man who brought me some of the greatest nights i've ever had in footy.. he's f***ing boss.. i'll support him whenever and wherever i can and if some f*****s want to get all arsey about that because they think it's somehow supporting a different team or denigrating our own manager then they can get to f***, i don't give a s***.. -

he's made a huge difference to the front play with his pace and attacking towards the six yard box (which was virtually non-existent prior to his arrival).. i didn't really want us to sign him - i was hoping for Llorente personally - but as i've said before i'm happy to be proved wrong with anyone involved with the club that i've thought wasn't up to it.. he's made an excellent start and, whilst i'm not going to go all gooey, i hope it continues forever and he starts to become a proper matchwinner for us (ie when games are tight he's the difference between a 0-0 and a 1-0).. his laugh after his s***-dance was good too - he always looked dead serious when i've seen him do it at Chelsea.. so yeah, all in all a boss start.. well in lid

he's overdone it a bit there but Fanning's excellent.. in addition, that Gary Neville piece is brilliant but really its just basic common sense and right minded-thinking.. i need to take up this claim of him being some outstanding pundit because for me he isn't - he's just giving a rational point of view that you would expect from anyone with a brain and a bit of nouse about the game or from your regular ex-pro.. the fact he seems to make sense isn't really because he's great it's just that the rest are utter s*** and conform to a media-agenda.. Neville's the only one i haven't seen go down that road (so far)..

Borini's movement is really good in and around the box.. stick him wide and he hasn't got the pace or the guile to really cut it, which makes the use of him up to his injury all the more baffling.. i can understand why we would use Suarez up front considering his brilliance and form there this season but i wouldn't be concerned if we asked Suarez to start left, put Borini central and asked Sturridge to attack from the right.. both Suarez and Sturridge have the speed and/or skill to beat a man out wide - what we then need is someone in the box (on the assumption either of them pass and the lack of attacking intent from the midfielders!).. the above also assumes a 4-3-3 formation..

eh? Granada might have wanted the extra moula but this isn't really what happened as i remember it.. G&H offered more money is what it came down too.. Moores and Parry started a charm offensive about them saying nonsense like "wait til you see their plans" and everyone started to buy into it.. shareholders, including Granada, voted to sell but there was nothing from Granada saying "you must sell to these" that i can recall..

i never wanted Hodgson here in the first place - i never wanted to Rafa to go - but i got behind the Hodge because that's what you do.. i can honestly say i never, at any point, whether under Hodgson or anyone, have wanted Liverpool to lose just so that it could speed up some sort of rebellion/sacking/whatever.. in fact, nothing would have given me greater pleasure than for Hodgson to have guided the team to some great performances and/or the league (!!!!!) or at least the Champions League (!!!) spots.. there's been plenty of people associated with the club that i haven't liked but above anything i want them to do well because the alternative is that my clubs not successful and that's the last thing i want to see! -
