i said something along the lines of this (above).. i'm not pissed off (nor outraged) that he wants to go.. he has done my head in with the way he's going about it like but i'm honestly not that arsed.. i'd have preferred him to say he wants Champions League and a chance of challenging for a league title.. but as i say i'm not that arsed.. not that i don't like him, i do but i'm over all this s*** of getting outraged with players when they go.. the outrage finished with Torres, that hurt.. if they want to go now, whoever they are, just hurry up and f***ing go..

i laugh at virtually every picture of Roy but i have just sat here and near pissed myself at this one.. fella next to me asked whats up and i showed him.. he didn't think it was funny and said "arhh poor Roy".... haha.. ffs!

Martinez has promised Everton fans they'll be watching Champions League football by next season. He's already ordered the sky dish.... *with thanks to Snelly in the morning

i'm hopeful Sturridge and Phil are from this new scouting collective that sit down with the manager to discuss targets and therefore there are a few other gems up their sleeve.. saying that, i think Allen's early season form showed potential so i'm not writing him off and i've always liked Borini's movement in and around the box so think he could be good backup for the striker position..

he's won me over.. wasnt sure at first, now think he's got the potential to be Torres-good (for us!).. one or two little things to iron out with him but nothing major.. boss signing..

i love Rafa but there's no way i want him (Chelsea) to win the Uefa Cup... no chance...

this isn't particularly a go at you but i hate that attitude.. we're Liverpool.. we should be aiming to win the f***ing league never mind finishing top 3.. we're one of the biggest clubs in World football, we should have ambitions to match that standing.. we should have owners willing to splash out to see us challenging for titles again..we should have a boardroom full of hard-nosed winners looking to build the clubs reputation through winning titles, cups, stadium progression, clever marketing and proper strategy to take us forward.. we should have a manager convinced he can win the league every season.. we should have fans insisting on the best rather than settling for second (or third or fourth or SEVENTH!!) best and allowing the diluting of expectations.. this is our club, we'll still be here long after these f*****s have gone.. i see none of the above other than - possibly - a few good deals for sponsorship stuff, though i suppose i could also argue that we're only getting deals that our standing merits..

which was always the point.. he'd fight tooth and nail to be successful.. it's what got him the sack because he questioned whether the owners were on the same page.. we were only where we were because of him, he was the glue holding it together, he was the one wanting control of everything because he didn't trust the spineless f*****s at the club to run it properly themselves.. some of our fans wanted him out because they thought we were better than we actually were - they couldn't see the bigger picture.. well, here's yer bigger f***ing picture people....... since then we've been fed line after line about how we are in transition, how it will be a few years to compete at the highest level.. why? why aren't we trying to bring this 'few years' forward with some hard-nosed foresight, money and ambition?.. this club used to stand up for itself.. this club used to be all about winning.. now it just wants to pander to the masses and ensure the media and PR game is played so that we don't look bad.. we're on the edge.. we're going to become nothing if we're not careful.. i'm f***ing well pissed off with it all..

how many points did Rafa get in his last season? off the top of my head, Rodgers can only equal that if we win our last four games.. i'd also add that Rodgers has had no owner fallout to deal with like Rafa had that had both him and the players (and fans) taking their eye off the ball.. i would argue that 63 points and a place in the next seasons Eurpoa League is better than this season....... Kenny got to two cup finals and it was clear to me the players were more up for the cup games than the league once the chance of top four had gone (possibly as a means to get into Europe) and therefore the league points total suffered.. i have no doubts Kenny could have turned that around.. i would argue that two cup finals and a place in the next seasons Europa League is better than this season... saying that, i don't know how this has all turned into a Rafa/Kenny v Rodgers debate.. the only question should be whether or not Rodgers is good enough to be Liverpool manager and despite the fact that i like him and think he's got potential he's not.. it's too early for him.. there doesn't seem to have been any progress in the parts of the play that have had us off all season and i struggle to see him turning it around.. if FSG keep him then i obviously hope i'm wrong.. if they don't i hope they set their sights a little higher as to what kind of manager we should be looking to appoint..
