You clearly think the world of Robbie and that's fine. But the Robbie I saw being carried out of The Moat House and other places at all hours, when he was at the height of his prowess, was far from the Robbie who you and I idolised on the pitch. Fantastic player, nice fella but he had a problem. He didn't listen and thought he could live the lifestyle and continue on his stellar career. When he got injured he continued (and got worse) with the booze and other stuff. He was rightly moved on by Houllier. Don't forget GH got a good fee for him and a good deal (in hindsight) for the club. I'm not saying Houllier is the dogs b******s, but as far as him (as you put it) 'single handedly' ruining Fowler's career, you are way off the mark

You are wrong. Robbie Fowler was given ample opportunity to lay off the superstar lifestyle by Houllier. As was Carra. The difference is Carra listened Robbie didn't. Hence Fowler took longer to recover from injuries and sustained them easier.

Large parts of that game today were depressing. 56%-44% possession against Sunderland at home. I'm fecked off with seeing Liverpool create little or nothing this season inside the box. Unless it improves dramatically soon (on the pitch- I/we can't worry about elsewhere) I think we're really going to suffer (stating the bleeding obvious) this season

I've been going along to see my local team, Bromley, for a couple of seasons now. They're top of the Blue Square South at the moment with maximum points from six games.They're managed by Mark Goldberg, the bloke who was the chairman of Crystal Palace and got shafted by Terry Venables. They're playing away on Saturday, so I won't be going but the home admission is £15 for an adult and child, which I think is reasonable. If Bromley win promotion they'll get in to the Conference, one step away from the League proper. AFC Wimbledon are in the Conference and doing well, too
