  4. Now that's a good idea.
  5. £XX.XXp Is this a mad bid auction where the lowest unique bid wins?

  10. Thanks for this. My kids have been wanting to see this for ages (the missus, too).We always try to book a trip to the theatre over Christmas and New Year, so this fitted nicely. I'm not going! (even better)
  11. I usually introduce an element of results driven bonus. £1 as an initial payment and £1 when you get back to the car and all is in order. There's only an upside to this schedule of payment. The car is sound when you get back and / or the kid has made so much money he can't be arsed to wait around for the extra quid... if he is, then pay the guy.
  12. £90 Adult +Child ticket. I paid it and my daughter is chuffed to be going ... but
  13. Edit... left the l out of Clasico. I cut and paste it , too Some help needed please. I've booked a break over in Madrid at the time the Madrid/Barcelona game is on. Obviously, I'd love to go and see it live but I'm not fussed about missing out and would be equally happy sitting in a bar in Madrid to watch the game (bonus would be if I could watch the Liverpool / QPR game just before hand). I've looked on the 'net and the ticket prices are nuts. So my question is- What are the chances of picking up a ticket for the game for about £100-150? I managed to get a ticket for the Barca-Liverpool game (2-1 to us) out side the Camp Nou for face value, but is this likely to be much more difficult and should I just not bother? Another angle would be to play the 'I'm a Liverpool fan wanting to experience the event' card....likely to be a good tactic or leave me open to abuse and a potential kicking? Thanks

  18. Yet again our inability to 'put teams away' after battering them costs us Fair play to Norwich, they came to play. Jeez... how did Carroll miss that at the end?

  21. Initial thoughts of the game We are a great deal better than we were, but still no where near good enough to say we're a top 4 team. No surprise It was a penalty, but Carra was fouled before the penalty offence. (if the ref lets the shove on Carra go, he has no choice to award a pen) We give the ball away too much in midfield... this needs to stop. Lots of positives from the game. They certainly outweighed the negatives. It's a gradual improvement process and we/everyone need to realise that I saw lots of people saying this was a game to assess where we are at. I think in that (sensible) context, I'd sum it up as 'improving, showing determination and commitment. Could (will undoubtedly) do much better'
