A radical idea I don't actually believe in or like, but thought I'd chuck it in the melting pot: With any free kick you can move the ball back up to 10 yards in a direct line away from the centre of the goal (in a similar way to when taking a drop in golf), however the wall must remain 10 yards away from original offence.

Clive Clarke of Leicester City collapsed in the dressing room at half-time in the match v Forest. The kick off for the 2nd half has been delayed by at least 15 minutes. The report I was told said the team talk took place on the pitch and the Leicester players look shell-shocked. Hope it's not too bad... especially after what's happened in the last week.

Malouda will be a very good signing for them IMO. I also think that whilst Belletti is not as good as some full backs in the league he's an improvement on what they have got, and the biggest plus with having Belletti and Ben Haim in the squad is that Essien will be able to play in midfield throughout the season. I think Essien is thier best midfielder by a mile, and that acutally they could get a lot more out of him than they do. He's been restricted at times by playing the holding role, whereas I think with Mikel or Makelele doing that and Essien having more freedom to be the box to box work he does with Ghana you'd see him have more of an impact. He's on of the best in the world at that!!

That was the whole point of the 1892 block... so mates could get seats together. ANYONE could apply, and you could put your apps in with your mates to get seats together. It's not that the "1892 guys are so special"... it was open to all ST holders. It's not some kind of secret club with funny handshakes and all that. Will... who has been 'outed' applied to move to that block. I applied with a our lot... and we've got our seats together. In The Main Stand I didn't sing that much as I feel a bit of a t*** singing on my own not knowing if anyone will join in. Now I'm together with my mates I know we'll all join in, which will help the atmosphere in some small way. Multiply that effect by however many groups of mates are now together and it should be an improvement.

I couldn't believe it when i saw Bywater's clanger, Still think he'll prove himself as one of the best keepers around though!! Don't be fooled by Fagan though... every Derby fan I know was stunned with how he did on Saturday as they all think he is s**** and nowhere near Premiership class.

It was booming out in the concourse before kick off. One thing though... I heard a naughty version to this tune a few years ago, involving the Mancs, so it's not a new tune for us... even if we have pinched it from elsewhere (at least we've done our own words) it's a real grower though!!

Everyone knows our record when we're away from home, but it's also bad when we play in the morning. Yes... you could argue that it's because it's more likely to be a tough game when played as an early kick off, but we still pick up a lot less points. 4 of our next 6 away games are an early kick off (Sunderland, Portsmouth, Everton, Newcastle) and these are the type of games we've slipped up in over recent years, but should expect to be picking up 3 points most of the time. In the busines end of the season we've got to travel to Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Tottenham so it's important that we are in a good position at the turn of the year as it's going to be tough to claw back points with those fixtures coming up. Basically... I'm doing the usual 'start-of-the-season-full-of-hope-and-working-out-possible-scenarios-in-my-head' waffling... but as the flag said: "Support & Believe" If you can't think we can (note: 'can' not 'will') win the League at this stage, then what is the point? CHAAAARRGGGEEE!!!

I think there may be some truth in there... particularly regarding the Sunderland (a) match as it'll be great if Rafa could pick his side there without having to consider the Toulouse game a couple of days after. At least the game that follows Toulouse is at home (v Derby), followed by an international weekend which hopefully may lead to a couple of our players having niggly injuries and having to pull out through 'injury'. A convincing win away in Toulouse would be just what we need!!

If we're gonna play silly buggers: From Arsenal I reckon only Clichy and Van Persie would get in my First XI... however Gallas, Toure and Fabregas are absolutely brilliant... but in positions where we're strong (Not saying Carra/Agger and Mascherano/Alonso are necessarily better than those, but we don't need to strengthen those positions. I think Van Persie may well prove himself to be one of the best players in the country this season. From Spurs I'd take Bale and possibly Berbatov... but i'm not convinced Berbatov is as good as some are saying. He's obviously a very good player, but I can see him have quite a big case of 2nd season syndrome this season.

In the same way he was s**** after 1 game in pre-season, he's not the saviour after 1 game in the league. He does however play for us, therefore he is boss by default.
