I've really come round to this banner. Hated it at first but once you get used to the fact that not everything has to be in the old style then you start to appreciate whats good about the banner. As an effort to move up to date and incorporate the liverbird and some of our trophy winning greatness it does a damn good job. Its going to look impressive from all over the ground.

Sven will have Hargreaves in the squad. I wouldn't myself but he's a big Eriksson favourite when the tournaments come around. I wouldn't be surprised if Phil Neville was in the squad, another bizarre Sven favourite.

If its not surprising that he did it, why is he the only one who acted like such a tool in these matches ? Did you see Carragher do it after we'd knocked you out the cup ? before you say 'ah but that wasn't a last minute winner' Neville had to wait until the final whistle and then run the legth of the pitch so he had time to think about what he was doing. It wasn't a goal celebration, it was a pathetic weasel of a man making a t*** of himself.

Thats the thing isn't it. There's usually clips all over the internet within minutes of anything unsavoury. It only takes a knee high tackle or a 'racist comment by Big Ron' for people to make handy email size clips and send them on. There has definitely been a noticable increase in bulls*** coming from Old Trafford and the environs lately. I wouldn't go so far as to say the officials of the club had anything to do with this but Slur's recent public friendship with Alastair Campbell and the way they handled Neville's outburst (they span the story so well that it came across as Liverpool fans misbehaving) make me think they are doing all they can to manage their image and attempt to weaken the image of their rivals. nothing new I suppose.

Decent article ruined by the reference to the Deloitte 'rich list' at the end. As if Abramovich gives a toss if Chelsea increase their turnover and overtake United and Real madrid's earnings. They'd still be paying out more in wages.
