I've tried to put up the theory that FSG will possibly sell and whether they do or not could have a huge impact on this seasons spend. He's even admitted there's plenty of headroom and a credit facility, can't seem to grasp the point I've been trying to make, I give up.

Victor Munoz can be amortised over 5 years, the principle still applies, a debt on the new buyers for a loan they had no say in. It's all splitting hairs, the term of the contract and the effect on the term of amortisation doesn't matter, a debt is a debt

To my knowledge neither us or any other club than Chelsea have players on contracts over 5 years. The principle made applies.

Transfer fees can be spread for as long as the term of the contract. Which means they are still on the books when the club changes hands. The new owners might have a different view as to how much they wish to spend i.e. a shed load more, which would make the targets different. So in essence they could buy a £50m player and the new masters want to spend £150m but won't do it until the ink is dry. It isn't about can the current regime afford it's the quality of players coming in and how much they will cost if the takeover goes through.

With each passing day it looks ever so more likely it won't be FSG's money paying for players. A takeover followed by a splurge of announced signings in the pipeline. it might sound far fetched but not as far fetched as where we are at the moment, quite incredible.

Of all the matches I've seen over the years, and I've seen plenty, watching Kev destroy Newcastle at Wembley at 1974 is right up there. Truly sad day for everybody who loves this club.

They hate everything about Liverpool, the club, the city, the politics, they're insanely jealous of us and Jurgen is the standard bearer for everything we stand for, plus he's got big teeth, a silly laugh and keeps beating them.

To be fair I get why, he is so far above their level it must have pained them every day when he lived here. Not only a genius he had simply every decent person eating out of his hand, total charisma.
