  1. He stood his ground and told us and Palace to fck off because he didn't want his team weakened with no adequate replacement . Have you seen the table lately? Sounds like somebody to be begrudgingly admiring to me.
  2. Kenny wanted to come back within a year of leaving, he then won the league with Blackburn fully recharged and hungry. It probably depends on his missus as much as anything else, people are citing Conte and Ancelotti and they are hardly spring chickens.
  3. I still don't know who it is, I thought it was Jeffrey Epstein?

  5. Like when Frimpong and Bradley are injured, don't risk him getting injured and can't play by not picking him to play? You might as well get a cardboard cut out of him with 'this is what you could have won' on it and put it in the changing room before the match.

  7. He had a full season with hardly a knock just a season or so ago. He's been unlucky, he isn't The Ox, his consistent appearance window wasn't years ago is my point, they had him fixed. I don't think he has a repetitive problem, he's just been unlucky, anybody can break a foot etc. Either way, if he can play like yesterday he should be playing and that he hasn't isn't not because he's injury prone, at the moment he's fit twiddling his thumbs on the bench whilst midfielders take his place. It's poor management, as plain as the nose on your face.
  8. 51 games Yes 51 Permacrock....
  9. He stayed fit for 51 games the season before last. People can get themselves sorted from recurring injury you know, he's just 18 months older than avoiding injuries for a whole season. He can be injury prone like, but not a permanent sick note and he's well worth the risk compared to taking Dom out of midfield and wrecking the balance or playing Jones at right back, which he can do sort of get away with so long as the opponents don't put a proper winger up against him.
  10. What if that's all guesswork, what if he wanted to keep Joe in reserve as a last chance saloon in case he got injured? How many games did Joe play in 2023/24 season? Go on, have a guess before googling?
  11. Trent was off, fck all to do with options, Diaz was off too, he'd been promised a move the year before. Arne didn't rate Quansah and Darwin was a liability more often that not.
  12. Jones and Dom shouldn't be anywhere near to right back. Keeping Joe (who actually IS a right back unlike Endo) on the bench in case he gets injured is the maddest fcking thing Arne has done since he came here. Yesterday all Joe did was function properly, he wasn't peak Joe Gomez but he's a proper footballer having a solid game in a comfortable position, his lack of minutes is criminal and it's on Arne,.
  13. To be fair, Endo has been used to shut games down when we are winning. You might be right but he's been devoid of opportunities this last couple of months.
  14. Anybody who knows FNB knows he's one of life's good guys and not a spoofing bone in his body.
  15. He definitely comes on here (just one wrong. Arnie, not me)
  16. A class act that lad, revered by the fans.
  17. The only thing steps him back from the edge even temporarily is a performance like the one against Madrid and a good hiding dished out to West Ham. Even then there's miles to go and a miracle needed. I'm 100% certain a proper manager could sort this team out with out too much tweaking, 2 or 3 bodies in crucial areas and a functioning system would do it. The writing is screaming at us from the wall.

  20. Not necessarily, he isn't Tommy Smith.
  21. This is crazy. If he's a crock and there's no coming back then he shouldn't be here, he's taking a shirt. Or has he just been unlucky, nobody can tell 100% but he's a superb footballer when he's up and running, he proved that when he had a run a year or so ago. He must be pulling his hair out watching Konate and Kerkez, he should definitely have gone last year if he's not going to play, he isn't Nat Phillips.
  22. The one that stands out is Palace after Nunez was sent off, also when Spurs had the audacity to go 1-0 up Diaz went up two notches. His effort levels were just what we need now, an all action aggressive attacking force, he changed games.
  23. Grabbed more than one game by the scruff of the neck and turned it around. Sorely missed but to be fair, a bit eccentric, his old fella was a pain in the arsse and probably had much to do with it.
  24. He's been available this season for practically every game and had one start. If he doesn't trust him then sell him and don't leave us short, we literally have Jones and Dom playing right back FFS! Exactly.
