  1. American hedge fund owner watches from the stands as his £400m investment tanks through poor management in front of the entire world. What do you reckon?
  2. Word brother.
  3. He should rename the bench the 'Go on, you have a go FC'. His substitutions are like a mad punter in a bookies throwing good money after bad, no logic half the time, it's a total mess. If I was Joe Gomez or Fredrico Chiesa I'd be off by now, imagine being on the bench week in week out watching that s*** shower, he's got to go unfortunately.
  4. He got to shag Tracey in Corrie though, one of the funniest tales ever told in the history of soap. To recap. She was round this massive house and Bernard in his smoking jacket was acting like the richest, loneliest old geezer on the planet, loads of money and nobody to spend it on. Tracey Barlow then about 18 seduced the old fecker in the Orangery. All of a sudden the door burst open, Tracey in her undies, they started screaming at her 'who the hell are you? It was then that it turned out Bernard Cribbins was in fact their gardener. Corrie used to be dead funny sometimes. It all ended when Jack and Vera went. That is all.
  5. Soz I was referring to Chuck Berry.
  6. I love these tales, my BIL was a low level stage hand at The Hard Rock in Manc and he was always saying what an absolute c*** he was, dodgy with the girls too. Then I just found this. 'and the Chuck Berry show when he was hours late, played for 45 minutes and walked off. he would only go on stage if they paid him the cash up front. '
  7. I saw them with Odyssey about 5 years ago, Odyssey were as good as Heatwave were shyte.
  8. he's a grump these days, don't know what caused it but lord knows he's miserable now.
  9. You don't expect me to believe that do you, come on?
  10. Never gave it any thought before. I almost saw Geno Washington, he regularly played the Rikky Tick Club in Windsor for years, his name was always on posters and such like. I was just too young, mates two or three years older were getting in, he' and that club still get a mention locally. I missed the Beatles by the same margin too, just that bit too young. Never thought you'd ever read those last two sentences on here, did you?
  11. Welcome to the house of fan is on a par, in fact they did lots of the good stuff did Madness. I had it in my head that Geno was written by Berry Gordy's son and presumed a Motowner would have had it first. Fck knows where I got that from.
  12. How are Dexy's considered one hit wonders, Gino was magnificent as was Jackie Wilson said? I know they were covers like, does that count?

  18. Disagree, it was glaringly obvious. Sami was great in so many ways but Gerrard was a force of nature and a massive motivator, not least by the example he set.

  20. I don't want Gerrard anywhere near the club, he did well at Rangers, whoopydo. Love him to bits but no indication whatsoever that he's a great football manager. He's another Lampard.
  21. All of this but I was at Anfield last Tuesday and this team were 'bang on it', 5 days later they were abysmal with all the old failings of most this past year on show. It's not like we shone against Burnley, Real Madrid FFS. I'm completely baffled.
  22. Kirkez is in a confidence spiral. he came on yesterday and overhit a through ball to the invisible man. It was so wayward as it ran out for a goal kick you could have had an argument over what his intention was.
  23. He's a mercenary, I reckon he'd have been a problem if denied his move. His going had something to do with signing Isak AND Ekitike, Arne has plans which probably meant he could sacrifice Diaz looking for more goals all around, the money raised for Diaz and Darwin definitely got Isak over the line.
  24. Ekitike is a class above Nunez and early doors pretty much a positive and an upgrade, he works his socks off, we couldn't keep Diaz, he wanted to go.
  25. The thought that we would be a better side had Darwin stayed is ridiculous, everybody wanted him gone he was a liability. I shared that glorious day with you Ant, but we have to recognise when the bells ring as loud as this we have to sit up and take notice. I thought we were getting back up of the floor on Tuesday but yesterday was horrendous (again) and it's all on Arne, there were gaps all over the park and the show in the first half in particular was mind bogglingly poor after Tuesday's performance. We look knackered in midfield, Grav and Mac were completely overrun. Dom is a shining light, he's gone up two levels his year, absolute world class.
