Hadn't realised how quick Doc was. Tommy Smith was brilliant, just brilliant, so was Emlyn.. Heighway takes the best ever corners. Cally was 37 I believe. The memories, the memories, we were fab.

He's a right dirty fecker but no denying he's a proper centre back. It was him taking De Bruyne out early on that won Chelsea that game. You wouldn't want him marking you, he's a less clever Ramos.

I used to speak with Merson's agent back in the day. I got to know who the good guys were (Merson and Wrighty) and who the arsseholes were (Wimbledon thug), he went into depth with me about Merce's addictions. His main problem wasn't meds or alcohol it was gambling apparently. He has suffered but he's alright.

If he stayed fit and still plays at the level he was at 3 years ago he'd be playing loads. I remember him and Virgil being mooted as potentially the best partnership in PL history. I'd like him to stay.
