Or if Parry forgets to put the permit application in, 2008. On a seroius noet, we shouldn't wait until the last minute to put the permit in like we did last summer. We shopuld apply at the first possible opportunity so we'll know the answer asap.

One thinmg that impressed me about Bellamy's antics on Saturday, was the way he didn't make a deal of his first goal in front of the Pompey fans. He realised the situation Pompey were in and tried to defuse it.

A red letter day I know but I agree completely with that. There are many mid-week games where we would struggle to get close to that. I remember only 4 years ago our fist match in the European Cup since 1985 and we only managed just over 30,000. How would that look in a 60,000 stadium? 50-55K absolute maximum IMO.

That would be the deal of the century if they got £18 million for Baros. How the feck is that going to happen? He's not exactly set the world alight this season has he? I thought we could have got more for him wqhen we sold him for sure but 18 million.

Arsenal have got to fancy their chances of winning it now. Barca are beatable on a 1 off game that's for sure. Their defence always makes sure of that. Barca v Arsenal would be a cracking game. -

I think the point is that we are all very dissapointed for GH not Lyon. It could be Lens or Monaco if GH was managing them but it happens to be Lyon.

I think the Chelsea system makes him look better than he is. He is given free rein to get into goal scoring positions as he plays with Essien and Makelele behind him. Therefore he plays more like a secodn striker than a midfeilder. He is Chelsea's Paul Scholes. You only notice him when he's scored a goal. Other than that he may as well not be on the pitch.

I think Brian Hall played 11 when he was in the same team with Peter Cormack, but I don't think they played in the same team much did they?
