No crisis time at all, but all we have is innuendo and hearsay and no concrete proof that any funding has been secured. All we have are a couple of nudges and few winks and people immediately assume we have billions of pounds. Believe it when you see it and not before. We've had too many false dawns on this front before.

I would just like to say that Steven Gerrard is fast becoming the best midfielder we have ever had. The year we lift the title propels him to that position. I never thought anyone would overtake Souness but it's coming.

If and when Mourinho buys a striker, it will be a big name of that I am certain. Sure Ferreira and Carvalho weren't that big, but he brought them with him and they had just won the European Cup. If they but a srtiker, I expect it be an Eto'o or Adriano type reputation, not Kuyt. Mourinho got rid of Kezman, Ranieri bought him.

There's no way in a zillion years that Kuyt is going to go to Chelsea. If they buy a striker it will be a huge name at a huge price. they don't do anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if Kuyt went nowhere this summer. Also, why the raving or otherwise about Kuyt? Is there anyone on here that actually knows more about him than what has been read in the papers? I for one know absolutely zilch about him.
