Hardly a surprise that. In the old proper Euro cup format (including all three cups there) any team would have been dropped if they went TWO games without scoring...

The current goal drought reminds of the season when Heskey joined (1999-2000?) and we were absolutely hopeless towards the end of the season. At least we're creating some chances now... What worries me though is that it's only early March and there's still a good two months left.

I don't know why Rafa did not bring the issue up at the general meeting. It was only a couple of weeks ago.

Crouchie is better on the ground than in the air. Strange (and sad) but true. He does get to the end of crosses but he does not have the ability to 'control' the ball with his head or direct it in any useful way. The ball just sort of hits him on the head. He either times his jump wrong or does not have any neck muscles at all...

Well, if the rumour is coming from Rafa he must know we can scrape up the money, right? Meaning we're not as skint as some posters would like to think we are, or that there is an investor in the pipeline and Rafa would like to have the investment deal concluded... There is only one conclusion IMHO: it's all a load of bull. Rafa is not the sort of a person to do something like that.
