How are people getting to OT next Saturday?

I'm deliberating between train into Manchester and then metrolink to Old Trafford or normal train to the Manchester United station.

Does anyone even know if Northern Rail are running specials from Piccadilly (or even Lime Street) to the Manchester United station?

Kinell, I'm working in Edinburgh until about 12 and then it'll be a mad rush to get down to the Toilet for 5.15 so no Don Revie for me! I'm buggered if I'm going on that Noddy Scooter though!

We're staying with some friends - going on Friday so we can go the Youth final as well. They live in Alderley Edge (No they're not mega rich, they're Leeds ST holders :( ). We stayed there the night before we flew to Istanbul as well so hopefully that's a lucky sign :D

I'll be going to Manchester by train. Not sure if i'll be at the game cos of the ballot. I'm gonna watch it in one of the pubs around the ground if i can't pick up a spare ticket.

I'm considering travelling in a small electric cart powered by a mixture of horse manure, used tea-bags and apples.

If I leave tomorrow lunchtime I should just make the kick-off...

You say that to sound adventurous but you're going by car like everyone else, aren't you?

Mind you, if you actually ARE travelling like that, I take my easter bonnet off to you my friend!

If I can't get my hands on enough Granny Smiths and horse poo to get to Salford at least, I'll be jumping a lift with my Dad and Uncle...

Anyone driving up from London with room for a couple more?. Planning on getting the train up but will happily share petrol money if anyone has a couple of free seats in the back of their car?

You can all thank your lucky stars...I'm on a 9am coach from London that will doubtless be full of Russian mafia scum, then have to wait for a coach at midnight that gets back at 6am Sunday. We better f***ing win!!! Mind you journey back will be a joy if we do, teaching the cockneys a few verses of The Fields of Anfield Road.

Do you reckon I should change to the midnight bus mate? Worrying now.

You should be OK, then again - if you switch to the midnight you have the chance of a few post-match bevvies.

Suppose the only concern would be your 8:15 worst case scenario

9.30 from Victoria? I'm on that coach too.

Anyone driving up/down from the smoke on Saturday morning/evening? Let me know and I'll happily go shares on the petrol.

Try Ant M, I think he may be

I'm on the midnight bus... It's where its at ;)

Think I'll switch, then I don't need to worry. Take as long as I want to get out of the ground, have a few beers in Manchester city centre and then fall asleep on the bus.
