psl Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Need to smash the f*** out of these pricks. Hope Kompany cries. 1 2
Nebraska Red Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 They are already putting petrol in a fleet of busses.
Cam Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Gomez back to centreback then. Poor lad will undeservedly lose his place in the XI when Konate comes back at Brentford. Robertson in to replace him and he'll stay. Love Robbo but you can argue this weakens us. A big part of our recent fine form has been Joe at leftback. Another ramification of today's sh*tshow.
muleskinner Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Quansah and Virg. Robertson a weakness haha get a grip. 1
Swipe Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Just now, Conrad said: Presume its just a 1 game ban for Konate? Yeah. Quansah in will do the job. 1
Ombudsam Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 8 minutes ago, Swipe said: Yeah. Quansah in will do the job. Why not Joe with Robbo being back?

Quansah has looked genuinely brilliant and Robertson might need a few more sub appearances first. I’m all for keeping Gomez in the team so, yeah, if Robbo is on for a start I’d say that’s what will happen. I’d just bring Quansah in myself. 1

If ever there’s a chance to get fitness up though then surely it is with a full spare week and then a start at home v the worst team. Feels like a gimme on the minutes front. Either way, I’m happy with Quansah too and I’m sure they’ll make the right choice.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Need to get back into 1st place so winning this is a must. More than a must. (City are obviously beating Brentford and Everton before we k/o against Burnley)
Swipe Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Endo, Salah and Dom all in training next week would be a nice pick me up. Getting back to two strikers to come off the bench could be big. Jota could probably do with a rest too.
Binomial Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Ali Bradley Quansah Virgil Robbo Szobo Endo Mac Diaz Nunez Jota If Bradley and/or Szobo are unavailable, then Gomez and Harvey.

Swipe Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Klopp said he felt his hamstring after Chelsea. Don’t know where this ill stuff is coming from.

Loads were saying he had a sore groin yesterday. He can’t be changing his reasons for missing the game now
Swipe Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Klopp literally said it. Why is nobody listening to me! 1

Cam Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 This isn't rocket science, ffs - his hamstring is ill. Jeez, it's like some of you aren't medically trained. 5

Why listen to what Klopp says when we've got twitter to confirm the news 24hrs before. He's got the run ins alright. Edited February 5, 2024 by Binomial

YugoB Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 (edited) t*** them, one way ror another. Eliott should be back in midfield, with Jones and Macca, assuming that Dom won't be ready enough, with Thiago/Endo and Gravenberch on the bench. Hopefully Darwin is fully fit, Quansah coming in for Konate or Gomez, should be ok enough. I imagine Robbo starts. Edited February 5, 2024 by YugoB

This game has the potential to be a scrap in midfield. Not sure Elliot is the player for that kind of game. Bradley, Quansah, VVD and Gomez Jota, Diaz and Darwin/Gakpo up top.
