Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) NB disappointed to learn that Dave G actually doctored these in the past & I wasn't actually that incompetent. Bournemouth 13, tough call there, could well suffer that 2nd season in the PL syndrome (that probably isn't even a thing) Edited August 12, 2016 by Tokyo Sexwale
surf Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 you're dissappointed you're not incompetent? 1) don't underestimate yourself2) i think DG may have been joking
Nathan Explosion Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 you're dissappointed you're not incompetent? 1) don't underestimate yourself2) i think DG may have been joking Do you want to clarify what you think I was joking about, Surf?
surf Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 saying that you edited macca's post is just as funny as actually editing them, so i'm not sure whether you did or not
Nathan Explosion Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 saying that you edited macca's post is just as funny as actually editing them, so i'm not sure whether you did or not I wasn't joking. Macca f***ed up the first time he did this (I think he put the predictions in the previous season's order or something silly) and I played with his next couple of posts in that first season. Next season - he made a mistake too and I again played around with the situation. I then stopped at some point, too long ago to actually remember clearly what went on....any other mistakes/statistical analysis he made on this site was all down to him. I simply set it in motion........he became the living embodiment of the original joke I made. He is that incompetent
surf Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 good to see he still messed up the first and second season and it wasn't all a big joke
Cam Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 This is exactly, exactly, like when the US intervened in Iraq to make a bad thing better only for it to end up 1000 times worse. We'll all be sorry in twenty years time when thousands of Macca-inspired internet-jihadis are ruining forums.
Jonesy Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 This is exactly, exactly, like when the US intervened in Iraq to make a bad thing better only for it to end up 1000 times worse. We'll all be sorry in twenty years time when thousands of Macca-inspired internet-jihadis are ruining forums. It's Macca though so thousands will probably only be 3 or 4 at best. Not 3 or 4 thousand just 3 or 4.
New York Red Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) What are we supposed to do here? Edited August 2, 2016 by New York Red
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 probably about right for Burnley
sutty Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 The arsenal shout is interesting. Shows the view of the competition and the assumption of Mourinho's impact on united & Conte at Chelsea Presume this means people are predicting a united, chelsea, city, spurs top 4 with arsenal and Leicester being bombed from last season. Reckon we'll be predicted 6th on this basis. Bookmakers odds on top 4 are City 1/5MU 4/11Chelsea 8/15Arsenal 4/7Spurs 11/10The Reds 11/8
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 ManU I find weird. Basically everyone's assuming Mourinho will turn up trumps. 3 seasons ago they blew a commanding lead with only about 8 games to go & finished 3rd. 2 seasons ago they won it & last season were in a relegation scrap when he was fired. The longer he's around (in general not at a single club) the more scrappy he seems
Bigal Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 2 seasons ago ? Macca getting something wrong??? I reckon DG has editted his post again.
smithdown Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 What are we supposed to do here?I'm not sure either. What are we supposed to argue about? Needs a photo of Macca to jiggle it up.
Gilps Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) Macca getting something wrong??? I reckon DG has editted his post again. TBF, is the ridiculous, dopey t*** not referring to Mourinho's (and therefore) Chelsea's record over those three years there? Edited August 2, 2016 by Gilps
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 Last season - Leicester2 seasons ago - Chelsea or was 2014-15 one season ago?
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 Everton 8th - they're assuming wonders from Koeman then& Palace 12thSo I'm guessing they have us 6th with Spurs & the Mancs x2 as the top 3
Cobs Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 I reckon they have it CityUtdourselves Spurs in 6thLeicester 7th
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 Yeah did think after posting. Klopp + no Euro footy vs Spurs potential hangover.... Can't see them having ManU as 6th unless they've decided Mourinho is a jonah now
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Leicester 9th.....hmmm Think they'll finish above Everton, suppose depends how bad losing Kante is really. European footy will interfere too but I'd still put them comfortably ahead of Everton
psl Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I reckon they have it CityUtdourselves Spurs in 6thLeicester 7thSwap us and Spurs I reckon.
