such a good title it surely needs a thread of its own.

Liverpool are not the only star attraction performing in Oslo on Wednesday evening – as former striker Ian Rush found out when he met members of well-respected hip-hop group the Wu-Tang Clan last night.

The 51-year-old is with the travelling Reds ahead of their latest pre-season friendly, against Valerenga later today. LFC TV Online subscribers can watch the fixture live on this website.

Before that, though, the Welshman shared a bar with world-famous rappers GZA and Inspectah Deck, who are in the region ahead of their own show tonight - a gig in Oslo.

It's likely the Reds will now have at least two more celebrity fans after Rush presented the American pair with a signed 2013-14 LFC home jersey and posed for photographs as the worlds of football and music collided.

Just glad it was Rushie in there and not the other Ian.

Imagine a world where you expect Rushie to behave better than the chief exec (or whatever he is) of Liverpool FC! Mad innit

Definitely Clan in da Front

Defo one of the most underrated tunes from the 36 chambers - love 7th chamber, cream and can it be all so simple too.

The 36 chambers is over 20 years old now. Wtf have I been doing with my life.

I listened to it a month ago for the first time in about 15 years. Brilliant album and glad Rushie agrees

my 21 years old sister hasn't heard of them either

They've been around for 20 years so you probably should have heard about them.

One of the early internet's favourite sites was that 'what's your Wu Tang name?' one.

A more innocent, gentle age.

I've never heard of them either in fact for a minute I thought they were Chinese Triads and wondered what Rushy was getting involved in. I've proper done Hass there, the gullible idiot.
