I must have been watching a different game. Not having a go in any way, not trying to criticise you personally Saithip but please tell me, because I genuinely don't understand...what did Lucas do today that made you think he was the best on the pitch ?

Poulsen was better in the second half which was lucky as he was horse s*** in the first half. We must have the slowest midfield in world football at the moment though which is a massive worry.

Lucas was in fact our worst player today. Gerrard was our best, without being near his. I liked Poulsen, although he tired second half. Kuyt improved massively in the second half. Agger did well too.

I thought Stevie was well off the boil today. Misplacing passes all over the place and missing a yard of pace.

 

Mediocre performance all over the park, again.

 

We were playing West Brom, for f*** sake and it looked as though it was at their gaff instead of Anfield.
