Sky are c**** but it's not hard to come to such a conclusion if Hiddink has said he's ready to come back to the Premier League but he wants to clear it with Abramovich first.

There's only a handful of clubs he'd moved to, and we're the only one that may need a new manager any time soon.

Juventus are desperate for hiddink to take over until the end of the season at least (probably then they'll move for Rafa if he is available)

Wouldn't surprise me if Hiddink would go to City.

The Abramovich approval thing sounds like b*llocks though. Why would Abramovich give his consent to him joining anybody who would challenge Chelsea? I presume it would just be a case of Hiddink telling him where he was going....and that would be it.

he is the head of football in russia isn't he? so I am guessing that it's just a way of showing respect to his friend and pay master really, doesn't really want to upset the russian mafia does he now?

What? You don't think City will get a new manager if Mancini is sh*t?

They won't sack mancini until the end of next season if he has failed, which he won't, as he is a decent manager (unlike Hughes) and you have to be really crap to fail with the money city are capable of spending

I heard, though from Arsenal fans admittedly, that allegedly a certain London club is a bit upset that their manager is in a spot of bother after assuring them that he was as clean as a whistle :detective:

Also see on that link that Aldo and McAteer are saying that its not all Rafa's fault, isn't that the opposite to what Sky said they were apparently saying recently?

What do you expect, if this was the Mancs, Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal we would be loving it.

The question is it wont happen to the other clubs at all. Mancs and Arsenal are media's favourite there would be no chance they would give such treatment at them.

It was Liverpool, who are their target, they have an agenda on us for a long time. They have been our back for a long time.

I don't think it is, but that's just my opinion.

There is definitely an agenda against Rafa, in some sections of the media and this goes back a long, long way.

To be fair, this season he is open to criticism and rightly so, but some journos/pundits seem to revel it in and it does come across as spiteful

Of course the media revel in it, it's a story. It sells papers, gets traffic.

Big club in crisis = news.

If it were happening at Arsenal or Man Utd it would be no different

It doesn't matter where you stand on whether Rafa should be sacked or not, it's quite clear to see the complete lack of respect he gets from the media. And once Ferguson had a pop, other managers followed suit.

Happened again after Reading, with the ITV interviewer seeming to be more concerned with getting as many digs in as possible.

I'm not talking about an agenda against the club (which I dont believe there is)

I'm talking about the behaviour of certain pundits/journos, who have been bashing him since he has been here. Its often quite personal. Rob Beasley springs to mind, among others.

thats nonsense. if any other of the top 4 sides were ion a run of 5 wins in 21 games, out of every competition they entered by mid January, i'd say the media would be all over it. we wouldnt be seeing it as a witch hunt because we would all be agreeing with the media. infact, i'd say if Chelsea were in our position now, then Ancelotti would be out of work
