Stew F Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 i've come to thinking that dave whelan is the biggest c*** in football.I don't think he's a c***, but I do think he's a bit too honest for his own good.Takes "Northern straight talk" to a whole new level.
Tosh Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Sorry, he still has a very long way to go before he's rated above Colin
GWistooshort Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 i've come to thinking that dave whelan is the biggest c*** in football. There were some comments of his in the papers the other day where he was talking about Man Utd's interest in Antonio Valencia &, providing the comments were accurately reported, he actually said "the master that is Sir Alex Ferguson"
charlie clown Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 did the report not miss out the syllables ba and tor?
Bailo Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I don't think he's a c***, but I do think he's a bit too honest for his own good.Takes "Northern straight talk" to a whole new level. There's nothing "straight talking" about his love for Mr Ferguson, or "The Master".

He called him the greatest manager ever and United the biggest club in the world the other day. He seems to be on SSN twice a day going on about how 'I don't want to sell Valencia, but If I, I mean we, get a lot of money for the lad, i mean, if he wants to go, i won't stand in his way. But they'll have to bid a lot of money, money money money money mmm money'Yesterday he was telling everyone how much compensation they'd agreed for Martinez's assistants, how crude is that. Mail: Liverpool winger Ryan Babel could be offered a route out of the club, with new Galatasaray manager Frank Rijkaard interested in signing his Dutch compatriot. TuranTuranTuran

"I'll never hire a foreign manager" "Wigan appoint Spaniard Roberto Martinez as their new manager" He's a complete and utter g*******.

TuranTuranTuran Its like Boro going on about Downing. 'Well, we don't want to sell him, obviously. He's our best player and a local boy. The fans love him here. Great player. Great, great player that we want to keep hold of, obviously. But, you know, if a top, top side came in for him, and offered big, big money. Well, you know, we'd have to consider that. We wouldn't want to, obviously. And it would have to be big, big money. But we'd need to consider it. To be fair to the lad. But it would need to be a side offering Champions League football. You know, one of the big four. Offering big money. Because it wouldn't be fair to stand in his way, he's a top player, our best player. And a local lad. But if one of those clubs came in, we'd have to consider it. They can call. Any time. The phone is always on. Or Spurs, they could call too. It would be a difficult call for them, because we don't want to sell him, but they could try. Or Villa. Or City. Actually, yeah City. They should call. As soon as possible. Oh, and we'd need to consider their bid, obviously. Because we really dont' want to let him go'. Edited June 17, 2009 by psl
Mike Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 i'm behind this campaign mike. maybe it should be called Worse Than Warnock. first meeting in ned kellys date tbc.
jimmylibel Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 "I'll never hire a foreign manager" "Wigan appoint Spaniard Roberto Martinez as their new manager" He's a complete and utter g*******. I particularly liked these quotes... "I will never sack Roberto from Wigan," insisted Whelan. "He is here for three years. If we go down in that time Roberto will go down with us." What odds on Martinez being first manager to go next season?
Stevie H Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 "I'll never hire a foreign manager" "Wigan appoint Spaniard Roberto Martinez as their new manager" He's a complete and utter g*******.that's him in a nutshell. bet he voted BNP. i'm behind this campaign mike. maybe it should be called Worse Than Warnock.'more w*nker than colin'

floyd Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 "I think United are the heart and soul of football. Bobby (Charlton) is an ambassador and does a fantastic job for football," said Whelan. "When you talk about the maestro (Ferguson) himself, he is just something different. He's probably the greatest manager that football has ever seen. "I wish I had been in a position to play under him. He is Man U through and through. It is just a pleasure to shake his hand and welcome him to Wigan. "I always have a drink with Bobby afterwards. Sir Alex always has a drink with Steve Bruce and they get on so well together. It is just a shame if we lose or if we beat Man U." an absolute c ocksucker, who has now bought back into JJB, so heres hoping they go fvckin bust
Mike Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 c*** should be banned for expressing those sentiments about a rival team.
