Pepe -- Not sure

Sami -- Definitely would be a good manager

Carra -- I don't think so. Good in the studio maybe.

Xabi -- I think he'd be an awesome manager

Marscher -- Don't think so

Benny -- Nope

Stevie -- Not sure. I suspect not.

Kuyt -- He'll have his own academies

Torres -- He'll be in the studio.

I reckon that Carragher, Sami, Kuyt and Alonso would make decent managers.

Perhaps in the future Mascherano as well.

It's an interesting one seeing those that want to put themselves into the spotlight and which ones do well at it. Always quite funny seeing the Manc players all throwing themselves into (And largely failing) at management.

I personally am interested to see how Shearer gets on with his role at Newcastle.

I just cant see that Duracell bunny Derek manage to stay in the managers box for 90 minutes. He'd be a role model in training though ! :D

I'll predict here and now that Carra will at some stage manage at premiership level. I think he's a classic in the making.

Absolutely agree. Of the ones cited so far - he has a strength of character and conviction in his words. I think he'd be a cracking motivator - but a manager that would never forget where he came from. Not sure I'd like him at Liverpool 'immediately' without him learning his trade at a lower level - or certainly as a second in command - but then again some managers slot right in and some don't.

i think carragher's got more of the sammy lee about him. classic number two rather than manager.

although i could well see daniel agger being the manager of the metallica fiftieth anniversary 'speed of sh*t' tour in 2030.

Great footballers hardly ever make great managers, for some reason. Can't see more than 1 or 2 from our current squad successfully managing at a top level

nor do i care

Xabi for me; his speed of though on the football pitch is unreal. I think he is highly intelligent, has a great football brain and has the potential to become a fantastic manager one day.

I reckon i'll probably move into management at some point

Just carefully learning the ropes and biding your time til the right job comes along, aren't you lad?

Was going to go the willow or kelly's to watch this, but they always lose when I do and I have a little gentle buzz off the few blues. Staying away today.

Torres will run a guesthouse in the Canary Islands

Kuyt will become a member of the European Parliament

Carragher will host a chat show

Hyypia will become a software developer

Now we're talking!!!

I think you know all these guys personaly don't you John? You've got them pegged perfectly.

(By the way, the reviews of the new stadium are unbelievable!!!!)

I agree with you about Carra. I'd like to think he has more to him than Thommo too.

For some reason I can picture Stevie dressed up to the nines parading on the sidelines.

Sami and Xabi just seem to be great thinkers to me. They seem to be thinking two steps ahead of everyone on the field and that will stand them in great stead for being good managers.

Degen, thats why Rafa bought him, to teach him his trade.

I have to think he'd injure his rotator cuff when he folded his arms in contempt for a fellow manager.
