Was on the cards.

This is what Galliani said:

"It's not just a shop window deal, it's a great deal. He will be avaliable for Ancelotti for Serie A and the Uefa Cup.

"Football today is not just about tactics and technical abilities. It's about full stadiums and sponsors. No-one can beat the 65,000 fans we had on Sunday.

"The stadiums will only fill up with superstars like Beckham who has asked Milan for hospitality, not another club.

"With him, Kaka and Ronaldinho, it would be a dream team."

Same old, same old.

But he cost L.A. Galaxy feckin millions. Who pays up? It wasn't even a couple of million it was a huge amount for an american team or any team other than Real.

I'm trying to remember the exact fee but his wages were also absolutly crazy. It was a complete marketing deal so someone's gonna have to cough up.

Hmmm... so its not so much a loan but an extra summer job. Isn't the c*** rich enough already without having to take a second job?

It's actually about winning. You don't win, you don't have fans, you don't have money

Those three things are not related. Look at Spurs and/or Newcastle United.

Heh, Milan could obviously do with the experience an old head like Beckham would bring - too many kids in that squad at present. Ridiculous. Maybe they're just going for the record for most involuntary bladder movements in a football squad.

we could sign Murph and Fyds and set a record that would never be beat

that's in the short-term. If one of those gets relegated, watch the fans stay at home

Newcastle haven't won anything for years - they still get decent crowds.

Spurs have won very little of note for years - they still get ok crowds and don't appear to have any financial worries.

Man City haven't won anything ever - they still get crowds and have pots of money.

What a joke. He walks around the pitch taking free kicks and corners and looks average at best in the MSL. however, he is still picking up token caps and now signing for a team that already has a show pony in Ronaldinho gracing it's midfield. All so Mrs. B can finally get to Milan and look more ridiculous and be photographed in designer sunglasses bigger than her head.

He must worship his agent and PR people.

He doesn't give a toss about Milan - this is all about trying to become England's most capped player, heaven forfend.

Cappello will make sure he gets a couple more sub appearances. The press would consider it churlish not to. Same as the other day though: Once the game is done...

After the Olympics in that London, the most overrated footballer since Nicky Tanner, will get Knighted.
