I'd really like to go without the tension of only leading 1-0 in the latter stages. Nice early goal, another before half time and a comfortable 2nd half would be nice. But we never do it that easy, do we?

you know this is liverpool fc we are talking about... its going to be a horrible tense 80 minuites followed by 2 or 3 in the last 10.

 

Would again like to see i 1 or 2 0 lead by half time maybe giving Gerrard the 2nd half off and a few other key players

I have to say it's going to be one of those nights where it could go plain sailing for us (4-0) or it could go very wrong or close. It's all about the extremes.

They will score first in the first 10 minutes, then they will have a player sent off and we will score 2 goals

 

 

If Masch is back we will win comfortably, if not then its gonna be a nervous night.

I'm not looking forward to it to be honest - too much riding on it and our performances have been poor. Throw in the fact that these guys dominated the 1st leg and the prospective of that away goal looks all the more daunting.

Heard an interview in which Rafa said Masch won't play. Too soon after the Olympics.

Anderson came back and played last night, Masch should be as fit as f*** after playing so many competitive games, I think Masch will play, rafa will spring a surprise. :cool:

A question, neither Mascher or Lucas are in the Uefa squad list for the qualifying legs, Dosser was added as a goalkeeper as the one change allowed 24hrs prior to the 1st leg. Are any further changes allowed prior to the 2nd leg or is that the squad we go with for tomorrow night ?

I was reviewing the 1st leg, and thanking God that we have Reina - thinking how many times has he saved our bacon at penalties: So far one this season, and I remember the one against Portsmouth last season and obviously all the shoot-outs.

But what proportion of penalties has he saved? Does anyone know? I'm not asking for a Kaizer-esque stat figure, but just a rough estimate of his penalty saving abilities...

not sure about the percentage, but it would have been higher had he been not such a short a***

is that true, i thought that the reports that Dossena wasn't in the original squad list were just mistaken? if it is true then we really are run by idiots.
