Quite like the idea of Koumas, because he will chase and close down, trying to keep the tempo high and the crowd really at it. But wouldn't be unhappy with that front 3

Or the club are just signing a promising young keeper for the future to be a number 2 for when the current number 2 becomes our number 1. I think there is a bit of paranoia setting in around any links made.

So when he gets played at RB we slag the manager for it and demand he play in midfield and now it's the reverse. Seems odd to me and he was our best player last season.

He was our best player last season and now 2 games in to a new managers reign you are slagging him off. Unbelievable.

Maybe I'm watching a different player but as long as we have a replacement lined up then I've no problem selling Gakpo. For me he is part of the issue with our attack, in the main he slows things down. Does the odd good thing but once we had 2 wide players with pace attacking the full backs we looked more dangerous. Than when he was on.

Depressing half that either Gakpo or Isak off replace one of them with Rio. Put him on the left Munoz on the right with instructions to take the full back on. Whoever is playing at 9 has to make runs in behind. Macca to play purely as a 6 and let Dom and Wirtz make attacking runs as well.

I disagree about Gakpo being our best player, he just seems to slow the play up when it comes to him.

Not the way I see it,

City fans are getting very confident they will get off with it all.

Why? Gakpo just slows everything down, I wouldn't start him, unless Isak isn't fit.

They have bid for him but nothing finalised as far as I know.

Gakpo on the bench, Rio on the left, Munoz on the right, Isak up top. Same back 4, not sure I like Araujo at RB seems like 2 yellows waiting to happen. Maybe a cheeky bid for Williams and get him in from Forest I time for Saturday. Midfield, who ever plays in there with Dom, is deployed primarily as a number 6 let the full backs support Dom, I'd keep Wirtz in for now as long as we try to get at them.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it previously but what about Watkins, on loan if we could get it over the line, maybe with an option to buy? I wouldn't be adverse, gives us a ball in behind we don't seem to have at the moment. Also if we're looking at left wing options, I reckon Martinelli was a better option than the injured Minteh.

I hoped Spurs tuned in for the goal and didn't see the rest and bid for him.
