Chili Palmer
of football? when we were in 2 of the last 3 years finals it was viewed as second to the premiership, but now sky/talksport have changed their minds!

dicks.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale
well it's the biggest Cup comp in the world. The WC can go & f***
Guy_Incognito
It is reasonably interesting how last season everyone was banging on about how it was impossible to win the EC and compete in the league anymore, and now that's been shown to be bollix. As it was the season before when the Spanish Champions won it. But everyone chose to ignore that. As well as almost every year before that for some time

Billy Dane
England not being at Euro 2008 is one reason that the media are going into over drive about an all English CL final.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale
it's certainly not the holy grail. It is a fecking immense cup to win. Except this season when two teams who clearly bribe refs got to the final. Roman, in Russia!!! Well, I never saw that coming
Sion
I think it's an incredbily easy compeition to win if the draw favours you. Like Chelsea this year.

Billy Dane
No it didn't but it didn't stop the media etc saying it was easy for us. When all's said and done Chelsea and Utd have beaten what has been put in front of them in the biggest European club competition to get to the final. If we had got there, we would have laughed at anyone saying we had an easy draw - which we did, certainly up to Arsenal.

Sion
If we'd have won it this year it would been the biggest CL winning achievement ever IMO.From the position we were in the group, to beat Inter, Arsenal, Chelsea and United would have been special.Anyway, the fact you can lose a load of games and still win makes a mockery of the competiton. Lee W
2005? together with 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984.....yes. Do you think Shankly thought so? But for a dodgy referee maybe. Think he was more concerned about us being a bastion of invincibility, which Ferguson is still trying to overcome.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale
if you want to talk about easy draws, the Mancs have practically had a bye this year
Barnesy_10
if you want to talk about easy draws, the Mancs have practically had a bye this yeartoo f***ing right they have. Barca probably the easiest of the lot.
growler
to be honest, all 4 english clubs had a bye, until they faced each other. Which team other than the top 4 here were even in with a chance? this year and potentially next will be the easiest european cups to win because of the lack of competition. real madrid have done nothing, Barce will be rebuilding, Athletico, first season in, Inter rebuilding, Juve first season back, Milan missing out, Bayern first season back. Really, unless the draw puts the english clubs against each other earlier, I would expect all four of us in the semi's, just because there is no competition. Andy @ Allerton
forever? You've got to win it as many times as you've ever won it to pull ahead and hope like hell that we don't win it again.
