sean Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 23rd Feb Middlesborough (home) 2nd Mar Bolton (away) 5 Mar West Ham (home) 8 Mar Newcastle (home) 15 Mar Reading (home) I know we're not firing but yesterday we looked close to where we were, at least we're tight again. 61 points saw Everton nip 4th a few years back. If we at least win the 4 home games we'll be close to that with another 9 games left, including Bolton away which is listed here. I wouldn't want to run the season in worrying that we might get stuck for the CL place. Hopefully we can finish with a bit of a flourish and compete well in the 2 remaining cup comps.
sean Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 you just never feckin learn, do you? PMA Cobs, I'm blessed.
Rimbeux Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I think it will be closer to 70 points needed for 4th, I think we've got to win 8 or more of our remaining games, and nothing will be clear until we come through Man U away, Everton home and Arsenal away all in a row, no wins there and I think we'll struggle.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 We'll go unbeaten until the end of the season
Cobs Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 PMA Cobs, I'm blessed.any sign of a new Ireland manager yet?
Stevie H Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 every thing sean has ever posted on this forum has been a lie.
Mike Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 didn't you do another thread earlier in the season saying we'd go unbeaten the whole year before the wheels spectacularly came off.you whopper sean, you done it agin.
Rimbeux Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 We'll go unbeaten until the end of the season May not be enough
dorgie Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 We'll go unbeaten until the end of the season Losing games hasn't been a big problem this season.....not winning games has been a massive problem.
matty Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 The battle for fourth is going to the last two games of the season. And if we have to win away at Spurs on the last day...

usualsuspect Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Wouldn't be surprised if we picked up 5 points from those games. Really wouldn't

Knox_Harrington Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Everton will kill themselves to come fourth. Our players need to adopt the same attitude.

Last time we had a run of games like that, we ended ip with about four points to show for it.
Guz Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Everton play Man City (A)Pompey (H)Sunderland (A)Fulham (A) in the same period before playing west ham at home and then us.
