a really terrific beard. and skills too. where are the alan corks of this world now?

 

can you think of any modern footballer who fits the mold? i can't. i'm sure there used to be more really old looking men in the game. maybe this is the real problem with the mega rich premier league. not enough beards.

Alan Cork's son is at Chelsea, he seems to have his hair in the wrong place though.

I've thought this myself a few times over the years. It's probably cos when you're a nipper, all footballers look older, but look at Archie Gemmill here for example:
