I've never really hated Leeds. I'm a bit young to have experienced the "Dirty Leeds" era but over the years, they've had some great players and actually have a proper heritage and history (I'm a sucker for anything like that). Their fall invoked sympathy and hilarity in strong measures but I'd still rather have them in the Premiership than someone like, say, Reading.

 

Really hope Gary Mac can take them forward as well as Wise did.

He took over when they were in the relegation zone and already fighting a losing battle on and off the pitch plus the club opted to take the ten point deduction early so as to give Wise a chance to rebuild for the following season. The fact that even after that and a further fifteen point deduction, he was still able to guide them towards almost certain promotion is some achievement.
