The_Adder Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I dont know who is in a worst state as a club at the mo, us or Luton!! So its anyones game!!
Ethan Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Luton are in the wrong place at the wrong time and will be taking a hell of a hammering tomorrow night
Bailo Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Was dreading last week, can only see a resounding win tonight though.
Falconhoof Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 (edited) Its difficult to get focussed on the game as a fan, god only knows what its like for Rafa and his team. Edited January 15, 2008 by Graham
Hassony Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Its difficult to get focussed on the game as a fan, god only knows what its like for Rafa and his team. according to Cobs they shouldn't be affected, because they get paid so much
honourablegeorge Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Luton's only goalkeeper is a doubt for the game with a thigh strain.
Gunga Din Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 we'll batter this lot tonight. i genuinely wouldnt be surprised if we hit 10.

honourablegeorge Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 we'll batter this lot tonight. i genuinely wouldnt be surprised if we hit 10. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if the owners decided to cancel the game and hold a doughnnut throwing competition instead.

fred milne Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Rafa needs to get his best available XI out there and try to get some momentum back into our season: ReinaFinnan Carragher Hyypia RiiseGerrard Alonso Mascherano BabelTorres Kuyt

Gunga Din Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 good I think Kuyt and voronin should start this game to give luton a chance if they start as a pair, i'll go f***ing spare. i'd actally like to see Crouch partner Torres
Bo Benn Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I for one want Torres, Gerrard and Reina nowhere near this game. We shouldn't bother playing them against opposition like this. By principle we should always line-up our 2nd keeper for this kind of fixture. Better rest Stevie and Fernando for Monday imo.
honourablegeorge Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I'd like to see us play six up front. And none of them would be Voronin. Is Kewell injured?
Boca Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Kevin Blackwell has his say on our current situation. “The game is losing real credibility because of the way the businesses are being run.“To think that Rafa has done what he has at Liverpool and someone has the cheek to go behind his back and speak to someone else about his job is a disgrace. “At the moment, Rafa is a dead man walking and he will not enjoy that feeling. As a manager you accept that you will lose your job at some point, but there is a way of going about it. “There should be a moral code. If the morals of an alley cat exist in the boardroom then you can’t expect players to be leaders and virtuous on and off the pitch. “Board members should be pillars of the community and set the standards.” from the echo
Stevie H Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 we'll batter this lot tonight. i genuinely wouldnt be surprised if we hit 10.yes, can see a thumping too.
Cobs Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 according to Cobs they shouldn't be affected, because they get paid so muchthat's £5 you owe me
fred milne Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Kuyt and Riise are in our best XI?They are both limited footballers but unfortunately they are also probably the most reliable players we have for those positions at the moment.
Boca Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 (edited) Carra's going to get a guard of honour tonight, by Rafa and the players, to mark his 500th appearance. Edited January 15, 2008 by Boca

To my mind, its absolutely imperative that Rafa starts selecting his most reliable players in a familiar formation and bloody well sticks with it.
