honourablegeorge Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Chelsea without Mourinho - an end to their internal strife, or the end of their team spirit? Arsenal - as good as they look? United - spent loads, but haven't bought what they need? And us, a good start, but two very inconvenient injuries, and a coupel of poor performances.....
Guest Sabre Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think we'll finish second behind Man U, just pipping Arsenal to second
The_Adder Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think we'll finish second behind Man U, just pipping Arsenal to second I f***ing hope not!! Don't want to put up with them winning it again. I fancy a Premier League-Champs League double myself.
Guest Sabre Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I f***ing hope not!! Don't want to put up with them winning it again. I fancy a Premier League-Champs League double myself. That's just what I think will happen - not what I hope!
Guest Anders Honoré Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I thought Chelsea would be the strongest candidate for the title. Don't think so now, so yeah - I think we'll finish first.
intense enigma Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 1st is what i've always wanted and 1st is what I will want forever.
fred milne Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think we'll finish second behind Man U, just pipping Arsenal to secondUnfortunately, that would be my bet too.
IgPig Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 1st Arsenal have had a good start, but will still lose a good few games against teams they shouldn't
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I like the optimism but I have my doubts. Its only 6 games in, a hell of a lot can happen.
Guest Budo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 It's between us and the scummers. The only things that could prevent that are a string of serious injuries to the squad and/or Rafa's insistence on not taking some Premiership teams seriously by playing out-of-form players for tough away fixtures and losing our points advantage. "The league is our bread and butter"
John am Rhein Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I like the optimism but I have my doubts. Its only 6 games in, a hell of a lot can happen. Oh yeah
RP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 It's between us and the scummers. I think Harry is a canny Manager and might help them challenge for a European spot but I really can't see them making the leap to Top Two.
Andy Mac Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think we'll win the league !! Undefeated at Anfield this season and vastly improved record away. I reckon we''l buy a top class central defender in the January transfer window, too
MarkD Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think it will be tight throughout the season with Man U and a rejuvenated Arsenal pushin us all of the way. I hope we win it but I think 2nd is where we will end up.
John am Rhein Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Man U are hereby written off. I think Arsenal will now be our main rivals, but we'll leave them for dead some time around mid/late March. Spurs may now fulfill Press ambitions and finish 4th
Cunny Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Arsenal are going to be stronger than most predicted.Despite everything, I still think it will be a 4 way battle for the league.
Logic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Top 4 won't change this season. Chelsea won't be real contenders but will still be up there with the rest. As for us..... who knows. But I think it's time to win the bloody thing.
Hassony Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 (edited) I think Harry is a canny Manager and might help them challenge for a European spot but I really can't see them making the leap to Top Two.scummers are actually southampton Edited September 20, 2007 by Hassony
John am Rhein Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 scummers are actually southampton What do they call Portsmouth?
DonRafa Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I think we'll finish 1st, ManU 2nd, Gunners 3rd, Avram's Boys 4th Arsenal might pip ManU for 2nd, praps Truly believe we'll nail the fecker, our first Title since football began (in Sky Years)
Stevie H Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 skaters.skates. because they f*** fish. heart says champions, head says second to the mancs. spleen says arsenal may surprise a few people however and stay the distance, even taking the ACN into consideration.
