Thought the post match interviews were funny. When first Gerrard was asked about Rafas future he totally dodged the question and just said that he was concentrating on the team and not on any issues between Rafa and the owners. Then, when Carra is asked the same question he almost gave a word for word copy of Gerrards answer. It was so obvious that Rafa had told the players what to say if asked. Well, the boys did their talking on the pitch and to be told you need to win 3 games to qualify and to win them 8-0, 4-1 and 4-0 is an amazing feat.

You have got to be kidding me? You think using the "n" word, is worse then actively talling me to hate others of a different race and not to mix with them and stir up hatred that will see people attacked and killed. I agree that the "N" word is extremely inflamatory and a horrible word, and with that in mind I will apologise to anyone I offended in my effort to show how daft I thought NYRs post was, but I cannot for one second agree that a word is worse then the actual voicing of segregation and hate that is done by a figure of whom millions hang on his every word and will be willing to act on. I don't use it. In fact I'd be fairly sure that's the first time I've ever written the word so i am not trying to enter a debate on whether or not I can use it and no one else is either. I was trying to be as provocative as I could as I thought the comment that it was ok for Ali to be a racist because he'd smile when he said it was so utterly ridicules that I wanted to make a point. I hate n****** Is that ok? Some of the peoples (shaq in particular) excuses for hate spreading and blatant racism on this thread are laughable. If someone other then the self proclamed greatest of all time had said any of this you would be hammering him. Its like those peopel who start a sentance with "I'm not racists, but..." But he had a massivly powerful public stance and he used it to breed segregation and hatred, and I can't excuse that. His comments just after turning to Islam that the white man is the devil. I seem to remember him also saying it to Parkinson in an Interview I say once. He was an excellant fighter but the myth of Ali has just gone stupid. There is a book out now of all his great quotes, but it has been looked into and they now reckon he actually said less then a quater of them. By the time we're all dead and gone I have no doubt that the record books will just erase any of his looses and he'll become undefeated.
