  1. So you haven't seen or read the clip, and then you go on you rant?? I have no issue with the the context of what they said. They did not say Hillsborough was caused by hooliganism, they said the erecting of fences caused it, which is of course correct. If there were no fences, no one would have died. (yes of course there were the other factors like the incompentance of the police, but the fences did the actual killing). Whether anyone likes it or not here there is a very large link between hooliganism and Hillsborough. If it wasn't for all the trouble at the grounds at that time then fans would not have been caged in, and 96 peopel would not have died. Yes, possibly the link was a little too strong and quick between Heysl and Hillsborough and some idiots might sit there thinking that both were caused by fans fighting, but the BBC did write a line whihc while incorrect (The fences were there before Heysl) did not say Hillsborouugh was caused by violence, but by fences. To me it's the usual case of someone hears Hillsborough mentioned on tv and immediately rushes to there pc to be the first to post about it so most others can come on with mock horror and exclaim there disgust and how they want to t*** everyone and wrote to complain to MPs, Offcom, the Prime Minister, the BBC and God himself. Yet then quite a few have actually said they did not even see it or read the transcript>> It's like that idiot preacher in England who wants Harry Potter books banned but admits he hasn't actually read them!

  3. The worst footballing idea I think I've ever heard. This will, without questioonm, all end in tears.

  5. I don't think thats the case though and I don't think he is that much worse the 3-4 years ago. I just think we have better, quicker, more skilfull players now and the game is just passing him by. More is expected of him now and he just can't deliver as he either panics and belts it long, or panics and misplaces a pass when the better players around him are expecting him to be at their standard. Torres, Kuyt, Babel, etc, will make a run that Gerrard, Masch, Alonso, Agger, etc could pick out. Riise simply can't and so the play constantly breaks up when he gets the ball.

  11. If Everton as a club have anything about them at all they will ensure that this fan (They must know who he is) is banned from going to their games home and away. To go to those lengths to use the deaths of 39 people as a play thing to wind up people with is beyond contemptable. Who ever did this is the lowest form of flith that there is.
  12. Ok, you actually are on the wind up then. That, or you are mad.
  13. He asked that it be made known to certain members of the YNWA forum that he's not a poofter no matter what.
  14. Riise played well yesterday and anyone saying otherwise is just trying to toe a party line for some stupid reason or other. Generally however, Riise is s***e.

    Lescott

Jesus. Any player that can get forward is great and should be an international and is worth £20m etc. Load of bolox. He's a below average defeder who is good at running in straight lines. Just because he has scored a few does not make him Bobby Moore. Wouldn't want him anywherer near our club except for once a year when any one of our players takes the piss out of his half arsed defending.
  17. An example of early '80s rotation.
  18. Roy Keane probably. If he can get his tongue out of his a***.

    Torres

I actually spat coffee all over myself I laughed so hard at that.
  20. Sorry lad but that's total s****. The Liverpool team of the 70s and 80s was a machine that played nothing like the current Arsenal team. We worked teams off the pitch and over powered them. We coudl not have been further from the current Arsenal team. We played quite like the current Arsenal team in the 1987-88 season. That is it.
  21. Speculation that Torres is still out.
  22. And that pre-season firendly against Brazil he was on fire. Had a bit of a 'mare though againt Portugal in the league Cup 2003....actually hold on, that was Brazil.

    Agger

The way things are going we'll win this one comfortably.
  24. I'm trying to be just as daft as the people who want Rafa rotated back to spain, Voronin, Kuyt, Pennant and Hyypia shot and Parry sacked.
  25. That sounds to me like grasping at straws. Proving yourself is about showing you can do it over a sustained period. Rafa hasn't done that yet. I still think he can though.
