Somebody told me today that Saunders and Spackmen said that we needed a new defence, or at least to sort it out. :wacko: can't be true surley.

Spackman told them to get a grip, it was pre season with half a stack of ressies and not the full normal back four.

Aye - that we needed to get the chequebook out again and improve the backline - completely ignoring that almost 2 different LFC teams had just played 45mins each in a pre-season friendly.

 

Listening to him I thought I'd gone back in time to when Babb and Stig were playing

I'll tell you who is genuinely weak in midfielders - Man City. I have just been putting my Fantasy League team together, and City have only two midfielders in their squad!

 

Mind you I heard Erikson has bought some Brazilian guy so that makes three!

mate - I don't want to upset you, but you haven't much chance of winning any fantasy football league with Man City midfielders in it ;)

LOL I haven't any intention of selecting any Man City midfielders, I just happened to notice how threadbare Man CIty were when I was going through the list. My midfield squad is T. Cahill, Y Benayoun, C Ronaldo, J. Barton, S Parker and

D Bentley. Perm any 4 from 6.

You know, I'd be made up if he was dead.

 

I don't like him either, he's got the kind of face you instinctively want to punch.

 

However, in Fantasy League, if you only pick players you like, you are unlikely to win! I also have no. 1 in the official gay top 10 in my midfield.
