between chelsea, arsenal and mancs
floyd the barber replied to madaboutlfc 's topic in General Football Discussion
Easy...Arsenal, i respect their club, especially the history and fans. Ive never had much of a problem with them...probably the only other big club i actually respect out of the mancs, chelsea, man s***ty,tottenham... Arsenal i can at least tolerate -

fantastic first half from us, at the same time....fergie has messed up and should have started fletcher, we are destroying their midfield and even before the 2 goals and plenty of our players making runs into the box and not being picked up. Id expect them to tighten their midfield 2nd half and bring flectcher on........fking loving this

joe cole has always had the same problem....and its mental and where the f*** to play him. Hes not strong enough to play on either flank as an inside midfielder.. His best position is probably in behind the striker....but he doesnt seem to have that "1 step ahead of the rest" that is required for that position, when he has the ball.....he looks decent, but to be quality in that position you really need to be intellegent and know what ya gonna do before you receive the ball....joe doesnt have that. Hes alright, but i certainly dont see him as a starter for next season. -----------------------reina------------------- kelly------------carra---agger----johnson ------------------lucas--gerrard------------ ---suarez------------raul-------------???? -----------------------carroll------------------- Looks to be where we are heading next season......and i certainly wouldnt feel comfortable with cole on the left, money will be spent on a quality winger, no point having carroll if we have no one to cross the ball.

well acording to this slightly dodgy site.. http://www.cleansheetsallround.co.uk/2011/02/ligue-1-news-liverpool-complete-signing-of-french-winger we have signed Sylvain Marveaux ....(acording to reports?!?!?!?0 which friggin reports is what i ask.. Liverpool have completed the signing of French winger Sylvain Marveaux from Rennes, according to reports. The 24-year-old, who has been likened to Chelseas Florent Malouda, has apparently agreed a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool that will see him join the Reds on a free transfer at the end of the season. Marveaux was seen at Anfield back in December and was in talks with Sporting Director Damien Comolli about a possible switch. We will never see Sylvain Marveaux in the jersey of Stade Rennais again, claimed a representive of Rennes. Despite being injured, Marveaux has 10 goals to his name this season. "according ,apparently ,claimed " great solid article

nah i think he was the wrong choice as he is an average manager who never won any major trophys.....thats simply all there was to it.

agreed fking tactical genius... also it would have been easy for a "regular" manager to bring on suarez...but not our kenny, the tactics were working..why change it! fking getttttttttttttttttttttttin

we can win this as long aswe dont continue to make silly mistakes.. chelseas best chances all have come from our own errors.. ie..maxi giving the ball to torres, lucas losing the ball against essien, and lucas again giving the ball away..

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/english-premier-league/news/1043427/Fowler-hits-out-at-Torres [Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has criticised Fernando Torres following his record-breaking move to Chelsea. The 35-year-old Perth Glory player was taking part in a radio promotion to raise money for Queensland flood victims. Perth's players were asked to wear a 'Shirt that Hurt' for the event, and Fowler arrived in a number nine Liverpool top worn backwards and emblazoned with Torres' name, explaining it was to express his unhappiness at the £50 million ($79.28 million) transfer. "There is nothing wrong with the front of the shirt but it's just the name on the back," Fowler said. "With what's happened this week, it's a shirt that not only myself but many Liverpool fans would rather not wear just yet. "He (Torres) didn't leave the club in great hands or great shape but thankfully they managed to go out and buy a couple of decent players." Fowler also wrote in his column in the West Australian newspaper: "There's something not quite right about the Spaniard's last-minute transfer to Chelsea. "As a Liverpool fan it was disappointing to see Torres leave because on his day he's a world-class player and I want the best players at the club. "But if I was a manager and a player said he didn't want to be at the club I'd try to get the best deal I could. "Only a couple of weeks ago Torres was talking about how much he loved the fans and the club. He won't be getting a warm welcome next time he plays at Anfield."

errr ok where did you hear this? -
like many players of his type that rely on pace, he hasnt seemed the same to me...for over a year, injuries have definetly taken their toll...while he will , im sure..get his fair share of goals, i dont think the torres we saw from 2 years ago will ever return, he definetly has lost that pace that made him so electric. 50 mill is great business

------------------reina----------------- kelly-------agger---skirt-----johnson -kuyt-------gerrard-lucas---maxi--- -----------------merieles-------------- -------------------ngog------------------ Would be shocked if that wasnt the team.......if ngog isnt fit, kuyt up front by himself, maxi right, cole left.

beardsley , barnes, aldridge, houghton suarez , young, carroll, adam
-
just saying but... so spend all this money and Torres does his medical and fails (which is very likely)....be a nice window for us cos for us to bid this kinda money must mean we are 100% of the torres deal going through Or ..was that recent weekend trip to spain, not really for pleasure.........
-
i like our new owners 1. getting rid of g+H 2. bringing kenny back 3. spending fking money and not letting it rot in the bank
-
rumours that 35mill has been accepted for carroll.. oh wait....looks like everyone else has posted the same thing!
