i dont believe that for a second... Lets look at it this way, torres yes has been fantastic for us but this season he has been pretty poor...to me it looks like injuries have taken their toll...have we possibly seen the best of him?, i think we have.. a 50 million bid i think will get him, and this might be hugely beneficial in the long term, we need quality throughout the whole side, 50 mill will get us 3 top quality players. If we continue to buy average players, will having torres up top help us actually get to where we want to be? this is no quick fix and i certainly cannot see torres sticking around for another 2 seasons to wait. Please dont get me wrong, i love fernando....but i think 45mill plus is to good to turn down for a player so prone to injury. But yes i do agree selling torres now with no replacement would be ludicrous...

well we`ve won 2 on the trop, so the fact cole hasnt played a part means kenny has made the right decision.. Think its hard to fit cole,raul and gerrard into the same side..all offer a simialr type of game... Kuyt is in for his obvious work like talents, and even though hes been pretty s**** going forward his running around, closing down players cannot be underestimated.. Shelvey on the otherhand, well kenny likes him as do i.....hes obviously a talent, one of his passes against wolves was gerrard-esque., he also takes a great corner..and seems like a confident lad. He also has done well closing down openents when hes come on the pitch, dont think cole would offer that

Aqua ain't coming back is he? Just can see it...plus he seems to have become something of an untapped legend with every passing Month...yet he didn't do much did he? Regarding Raul...well the problem here is the Gerrard issue,can we fit Raul and Stevie in the same side?tonight they seemed to get in each others ways at times Still think the best solution is gerrard on right where he can dominate like say zidanne or nedved..but I just can't see it happening. now of course we are all watching charlie adam...very cloesly, and after that first 45mins.. wow he does look a good player,2 great corners for the goal and all round play has been excellent. Lets be honest here, judging by the rates other players are going for..and i might add....those not as good as him, you gotta agree with blackpool here....hes easy worth 10million and if he keeps playing the way he did first half, maybe even more.

And he has stepped up...awesome performance from him today, in fact id go as far as to say (and its not that far really)...best performance by any player this season in a liverpool shirt, simply outstanding. He showed flashes against Everton in the first half, but today for the full 90minutes he put in a great shift!

You could also say that Bent has proven himself to be an "ok" striker..he`ll get you goals, but maybe doesnt have that quality that the real blig clubs require...18mill is alot of money, but will villa get into the champs league of this signing?? not a chance...win a cup? nope....so why pay 18mill for him, again it happens time and time again but i dont see the point in these clubs splashing so much money on one player when they dont have the quality surrounding him. Suarez on the other hand, actually has done the job for his country, still is young , done a great job for his club(s)....and would be well worth the risk, a nice landmark signing to get the fans excited...

but isnt that the point? we could well have got a point or win if he had actually played well...he got into some excellent positions, but his final ball was terrible. And having a s*** game is not allowed.....sorry but its not, . a complete ludicrous coment

Time for him to step up.. Hes been fairly average for me since hes joined...done ok but nothing spectacular or even very good.. Maybe he gets away with it a little as he looks kinda cool and doesnt have poulsons awful hair..... regardless tonight i thought he was s****....his passing was awful, and worst of all for an apprent combative midfielder...he kept pulling out of tackles.. Time for him to show his worth..

Well jova hasn't really been given a chance....has he? In the brief times we have seen him,he's looked ok to me

I reckon Raul will do the gerrard role and sit behind Torres.....kuyt will be on the right

id still like to see maxi in the hole behind torres......a far better option than ngog alongside fernando.. Maxi and torres have a fantastic understanding
