Match Topic Arsenal vs Liverpool - Premier League, 8th January @ 8pm
floyd the barber replied to ynwa.tv 's topic in Liverpool FC
Thought the first half we played like many mid to lower level prem teams do when they come to Anfield…we sat back and hoped to hit them on the break and showed tons of respect. second half and it was obvious Arsenal sat back a little and we pushed up…our confidence went up and then when Arsenal tried to take the game to us they were completed gassed. i did feel like it was a game for the taking and maybe Slot could have taken a gamble and added pace/wildcard in Rio -
He’s a good squad player, no way near the level for a top premier league side…lots of pace but lacks end product. Yes he did well in Germany…but a massive difference between there and England. totally understandable we signed him for the price and he’s homegrown but not someone you want playing week in week out

Was also in the Adidas shop in NYC yesterday (there for work) spectacular set up. You walk in and entire first floor is dominated by Liverpool and like YugoB said…basically a museum there’s also some of the older kits (not for sale) but on display.. and yep never saw this from Nike, barely ever saw any of our shirts in any of their shops. They were awful Also from comparing them both. The “authentic one” the quality is far beyond the regular top . Massive difference also a $50 difference.

Rumours are he’s the next Roma manager
-
Spot on. he obviously has massive potential…but isn’t ready to be a regular starter yet. hes far too rash and his positioning isn’t great - which is why he makes so many last ditch challenges . we defo need a right back in the summer
-
Slot wanted to win the game bradley wasn’t having a good second half plus was on a yellow card..made sense to bring Trent on. Im sure he didn’t think for one second that Trent would get treated like he did….maybe at a pinch the reaction when he came on, but certainly not boos everytime he touched the ball.
-
This isn’t a knock against Slot. But I bet in the same situation yet with Klopp as manager…there wouldn’t be booing. He’d go mental and likely would’ve taken him to the kop at the end and get everyone to chant his name. i personally thought the booing was small time..aren’t we better than that? I mean ffs he’s been a major part of the past near decade and won every trophy. if you are not happy..just stay silent.

No no and no this part ”one. However if he leaves for nothing he's f***ed the club out of a hefty fee they could have got and he can f*** himself. ” he’s given the majority of his young life to us so far has given us some amazing moments in this time hes an absolute legend regardless of what happens i put the blame solely on the owners for not sorting the contract sooner….not Trent lers he clear he won’t have f***ed the club….the owners have

And this continues thought he was fairly anonymous again at the weekend extremely odd- there’s a player there who is obviously naturally gifted yet he just doesn’t get involved as much as he should.

Also Arne loves a pensive finger on the chin….was like that the entire game other thoughts Carvalho off the ball is outstanding, no wonder why he gets so many goals Bradley going forward is great, defo needs work on the defensive side of his game…no shocker as he’s young and needs time to develop The half time show , was ridiculous…epic light show…Taffarel was trying to work with Jaros at half time , yet was told to get off the pitch due to the stupid light show, he wasn’t happy…and security had to force Taffarel to the side of the pitch Also many of the Liverpool players were out on the pitch long after the final whistle doing “warm downs” etc not one manc player did the same
-
I was at the game, it was cos Rashford had a go at some kid in the crowd then it escalated from there
-
I think time has been extremely kind to Hyypia… he had his moments certainly but I’d never put him anywhere close to one of our greatest ever center backs
-
Didn’t the ultimate many goodbyes movie - lord of the rings return of the king win tons of Oscar’s? I love Klopp like us all….he deserves all these moments and so do we. there so much negativity in the world…so when you get a chance to celebrate..do it and do it loads !

Ermmmmmm I don’t see the limited part, I see a player at the beginning of his career who has played plenty of games for a team fighting for the biggest trophies. his ceiling is high and he’s improving / adding more to his game with every month that passes. for example..goalscoring, he’s coming along massively in that regard I hardly see Harvey as limited…the complete opposite actually
-
Let’s hope he’s good Seriously, brilliant signing and helps us in so many ways…he’s perfect for us to continue the Trent hybrid thing Yeah exactly

If anyone would be able to share the digital program for tomorrows game, I’d appreciate it thanks ! -
It’s easy to forget how good he was the season we won the league . injuries have fecked the lad, I was surprised he got a new contract to be honest
-
Ok so don’t worry he’s ok! im not one to spam with podcasts as well…there’s a lot! But here’s one I’m involved with, we recently interviewed Paul Walsh…some interesting comments regarding how he says he was treated and our lack of quality medical treatment during his time at Anfield….and he doesn’t hold back, he also mentioned how he’s so disillusioned with the game that he doesn’t watch anymore. anyway give it a watch , also we have various interviews with ex players and banter in the pub and try to keep it as genuine as possible would love ya feedback!
-
Dunno, I think especially in a 4-3-3 he’s far more effective on the left
-
It’s all about his head isn’t it, was watching him closely during the Leicester game and he really does seem devastated whenever he fecks up…he needs to try and find a way to just forget and move on with his game right away. he’s got tons of ability , just needs to work on the mental side of things
